  • @CapnMarcoPolo A good webcomic.

  • @thesideshowman212 Indeed.

  • Because turing the bottle upside down wouldn't have worked... :P

  • It's so freaky. They really have hands. =0 Other animals it's more of a paw really.

  • I was in awe watching these videos. Wish I could train some of them to be so meek and mild. I do know they are very protective over their babies. Truly adorable animals though. Loved the Videos, it made my day!!

You truly are an inspiration, in producing these Videos. Adorable!!

  • gravity escapes him

  • HAU~~ TOO CUTE!! XD

  • That is Uber-Cuteness! xD

    What an awesome raccoon! ^_^

  • They are quite clever. The raccoons here in MI seem to have a fondness for peanut butter. Also marshmallows. They are not put off by human scent. Older raccoons can be rather surly. I encounter them in the wild and see many along the side of local roads--carstruck unfortunately.

  • i have a question. :)

    is this your pet?

and how do raccoons react as pets?

can they be trained to be like a dog or a cat?

do they have to be wild?

    she is cute!

  • i believe they must be domesticated. that is a very big issue. also different regions have different laws. look into it. it's sorta like having a ferret as a pet (a friend of mine used to have a pet raccoon... unfortunately this was before i met them)

  • "wild animal licences" are issued in some cases. I know in Germany they're allowed as pets, but in the U.S. the laws vry from state to state. I live in Maryland where almost no "exotic" mammals are allowed as pets. Every state around Maryland allow skunks as pets but not Maryland, for example.

Raccoons are a high maintainance creature due to their intelligence, though. You should research the animal before even looking to see if it's a legal pet in your area.

  • Hi! your cute Molly inspired me to a video reponse, hope you enjoy it. Greetings^^

  • nice fellow!

  • I'll get back to your YT message tomorrow... I'm just about sleeping right now... :) but I've got to say - This is AWESOME!! Seriously! I absolutely love the video technique in this video! I've got to try something like that with my wild coons and see what they think of it!!!

  • Thank you! Molly is more interested in picking food out of something than eating from a feeding bowl. You know, they look with their hands. Coons can look as good as we human do, and also in the dark, but only black and white.

  • To see, hear and smell is one thing. The main sense of orientation to find food is the sense of touch. They reach areas with their marvellous hands that were hidden to others. It's really their indisputable secret weapon.

Your project was my inspiration to do this video.

Nice to read you're inspired by seeing it.

  • Very! It's nice to hear someone's been inspired by my feeder project also! I've tried that project with a lot of different animals, but by far, I think the raccoons have the most fun with it! It's the perfect raccoon toy - they can rip it apart, they can reach around in it with their paws - they love it! I just taped a shot last night of them doing just that - I'll add that as a video response when I get it edited!

  • I've always loved to watch raccoons work with their hands - it's one of the things that make them unique. Other animals do similar things (lemurs perhaps), but raccoons make it somewhat of an artform... :)

  • The Music In Your Video Really Suits Your Buddy Raccoonie Here.

  • @MoaMolly I can into contact with what my friend and I thought might have been a domesticated coon in one of my naighbors driveways. He came right to me. First thing he did was touch my face. He kinda patted at it and sniffed me. After that first greeting he came to me whenever he got scared. It was rather cute.

  • I love this video technique too. You're braver than I am with your camera! <(•¿•)› I'll have to try this with Bandit. What was in the bottle that you were feeding Molly? (I've enjoyed Taburineagle's videos too.) Any chance you might tell us what Argondia stands for? Do you role play - SCA?
