You can hear Sid shout at Malkin on that second goal for the puck when he sees that empty net! This was a really fun game to watch, seeing all those hats reign down from the upper levels was really cool. Near the end of the game when it was clear that the Pens were going to win, Sean Avery went beserk shouting at the Pens bench.
Watch the goalies reaction right as Crosby shoots for his 3rd goal. Before the puck even goes in the net, he puts his head down like "fuck, he just shook me out of my shoes"

I know Crosby is a special talent but the fact that he never even scored 40 goals in a season always held me back from saying he's an elite player. He's not even the best player on his team!
That's all changed this year. He's having a monster year and deserves all the accolades. He's the leading canidate for the Hart trophy and has his team poised to pass my Devils in the standings. Good for him and good for the sport of hockey.

yeah people take too much time to complain about the refs when their team is playing the Pens, and yeah there are questionable calls but its hockey its gonna happen, the Pens are mainly just flat out good, they are a very solid team. i look forward each year for the Pens Caps matchups they are always good and should stay exciting for many years to come.

I can't agree that Crosby plays like a pussy. I would say as a neutral attendant that Malkin is the pussy. He always ducks like silly when someone tries to hit him. I'm a pens fan, I'm a Crosby fan, but as I read some of the comments I also have to say that I'm a Ovechkin fan.. doesnt matter what you say, he's an amazing hockey player. Better than Crosby? They both have their ups and downs. Since I'm a pens fan I cheer for Crosby. but as so many of you debate about who's better, they are both awesome hockey players.. end of story

You can hear Sid shout at Malkin on that second goal for the puck when he sees that empty net! This was a really fun game to watch, seeing all those hats reign down from the upper levels was really cool. Near the end of the game when it was clear that the Pens were going to win, Sean Avery went beserk shouting at the Pens bench.

Do they call him the great one just for laughs or because he is the best player in the game at present?? I love the comparrison between ovechkin and crosby.. but crosby is better.. Ovechkin can score and hit but he cant set up the play, he is a goal scorer.. crosby doesnt hit but scores as well as makes huge plays.. as well as malkin.. i do believe that the top two on the pens are better then anyone else in the league.. i love Ovie i do, but he just isnt the complete deal..

I know Crosby is a special talent but the fact that he never even scored 40 goals in a season always held me back from saying he's an elite player. He's not even the best player on his team!
That's all changed this year. He's having a monster year and deserves all the accolades. He's the leading canidate for the Hart trophy and has his team poised to pass my Devils in the standings. Good for him and good for the sport of hockey.
The fact that he did this against the Rangers.......doesn't hurt!

im sure Bettman isnt really halping the pens out because of Crosby and how popular they are but it makes you wonder at times.
but when i and others say it its more of a joking matter, although in game 6 vs the Caps when they called a slash on the Caps with exactly 2 min left in the 3rd on a tie game it got people thinking, or last night carcillo gets slashed and they give him a penalty too. its all questionable but hopefully Bettman is not really doing it.

yeah people take too much time to complain about the refs when their team is playing the Pens, and yeah there are questionable calls but its hockey its gonna happen, the Pens are mainly just flat out good, they are a very solid team. i look forward each year for the Pens Caps matchups they are always good and should stay exciting for many years to come.

I am a Pens fan, therefore I must hate Ovechkin, but he makes some sick plays gets some sick goals and I give credit when owed. Its hard to give the rangers anything in this game, but hopefully we'll see them in the playoffs this year.

the carolina one was pretty stupid of OV it was a kida half and half of him being stupid and the player moving at the last sec. he has slightly toned down his hitting style, now that being said it might ramp back up when he plays the Pens lol. i just thini he plays hard, too hard at times and that when he goes for hits players tendto jump out of the way at the last sec givivng him no time to react. but when he does connect on a hit damn is it big.

I can't agree that Crosby plays like a pussy. I would say as a neutral attendant that Malkin is the pussy. He always ducks like silly when someone tries to hit him. Thats one atleast :D And then there is those cheapshots he threw last playoffs and this season too. Crosbys playing style is pure golden, he just should shut his piehole from time to time.

i have seen Crosby time after time dive and pretend t be hurt, and then cry to the refs and i cant stand that as a hockey fan. his skill i can handle hes very talented but the diving and crying is not what hockey is about.

Yeah but he has definately matured alot since his rookie year. Its funny because people think Crosby is a baby, but if you meet him off the ice he is probably the most down to earth guy you'll ever meet. I had a chance to meet him about 2 years ago, and about 5 minutes into the conversation I forgot I was talking to Sidney Crosby. He's a super friendly and mature dude.
But no doubt, i hate Ovechkin but he's got some serious talents.

I think its great to have players like Crosby, Malkin Ovechkin (and a few others) in the league today. Its this high class talent that will be the only reason if hockey ever gets back to being on national tv more than just one night a week on versus.
