  • real men drive muscle. pussies drive jap shit.

  • bust out the r34 and bye bye camaro

  • @91Riff bust out the Ls1 and hello good race

  • @AlecFootball75 or ls6 NOW THAT would be badass but i would take an r34 over anything no offense

  • @91Riff its all good. but if your gonna go ls6 you might as well go LS7

  • @AlecFootball75 yup fuck it

  • I'm not saying that a V8 is a weak engine. The SSC had a V8 and held the speed record for over two years. I was just trying to tell the other guy that the current record holder isn't powered by a V8. Its powered by a V12.

  • @ironkid92jd Maxximus G-Force. Worlds fastest street legal car. Powered by chevy. I'm not going to explain, your on a computer, look it up.

  • Here's the link: /w\/\/\/\/.hotrod.{c0m]/techarticles/hrdp_1109_stock_gm_ls_engine_big_bang_theory/

  • @Josephskyliner84 Finally someone did a test. A 4.8 L Chevy LS, stock block and internals w/ rust in the bore, ran 40+ dyno runs@ 20+ lbs of boost with no problem @ 1,100+ Hp. So your RB26 can handle 600, the LS can handle twice.

  • i love japanese cars!!!!!

  • Ya know whats great, when skylines and other imports put the LS1 in those cars... LS1 FTW!!!!!

  • @AlecFootball75 I think thats an LT1 LOL

  • @GodschildJCE I stand corrected, i didnt notice it was the 93-97 body style... thank you! which means an LS1 would have had a field day ;)

  • @ryanericw Hennessey "claims" that it'll do 267 mph. But even then, it still doesn't hold the record.

  • @Hellz420 What..are..you..smoking? An LT1 can make close to 700HP stock block. Internals, maybe a reliable 630 or so. I want to see a 2.8L Nissan with stock internals pushing 600hp for more than 50,000 miles. I really do..

  • the rb26 can handle 600 hp with stock internals at 2.6 liters look up mines gtr

  • Comment removed

  • @Hellz420 You know nothing about 350 sbc's. Please leave this video without spreading your obvious lack of knowledge about domestic motors.

  • @the934x4 The worlds fastest car is not powered by Chevrolet. The fastest car in the world is the Bugatti Veyron SS.

  • @ironkid92jd yea, but not the public version, the version being sold is limited at 255mph so technically its not the fastest off the showroom car

  • @ironkid92jd, no actually it's the hennessey venom GT. Get yo facts straight.

  • ACR VIPER

  • Dude you cant win with a engine that has less liters than a coke bottle.

  • What's an R32 new? $45000. What's a Camaro new? $21000? So that leaves $24k in upgrades to at least make them even in cost.

  • @the934x4 lol yet when import enthuasiasts say that about the gtr and the zr1 everyone bitches...

any car with any money will be faster then anything, its all about how much money you have

  • fucking shit, that camaro clearly had way more cash put in the motor then the r32, lets have a fair race here..

  • Muscle>import

  • They changed..it's a 427 Dart block, still US made block and built by Bels

  • They changed..it's a 427 Dart block, still US made block and built by Nelson racing, also of america

  • @CyberGTX09 Sorry, the worlds fastest car is powered by chevy....

  • cars are for different purposes and camaro was built for this but the skyline would probably smoke this on a course type track i love all cars muscle cars, euro cars, hot hatches, imports and probably any class of cars that u could think about plz!!!!!STOP THE CAR ignorance

  • YEAAAH! AMERICA!! lol jk.

  • omfg if someone says no replacement for displacement again, im going to puke. fucking ignorant meat heads. step out of the stone age. cars with turbo'd 2liter motors can beat cars with 6.5liters and the other way around. it depends on specific cars. not every camaro is this fast, nor is every skyline this slow. jesus christ, seriously. fucking trolls everywhere.

  • Had to get a rolling start so the camaro could win. Wouldn't have been able to get traction from a stopped start vs that skyline.

  • the new gt-r are shit, and this wwas an r32, no wonder the muscle won, only if it was a r34 then it would be diff.

  • Muscle car mag or super chevy not sure which one ran an article about trans am road racing from the late 60's. One car they featured was a 69 Camaro SS with an aftermarket suspension. Big block with a five speed. Finished a road course 5 full seconds faster than a Skyline did. That's no bullshit either I just wish I could remember which mag it was...

  • thats what i expected!!!

  • @TheAsasin777 me too!

  • @CambodianCustodian- thanks man, I'm glad you agree B^)

  • *straights. *never. Damn auto-correct

  • @the934x4- I couldn't agree more man, staights are mostly all about the cars peformance, where as a track is more about the drivers performance...but in any way you race, a driver w/ experience is neve at mercy to a driver with opinion!

  • the newest gt-r cant keep its ground with a zr1 or any other american super..

  • @DamnitTravis in a straight line, but put it ion a track and anything american made wont keep up.....

  • @lowkeyneon right we think of power not cornering.

  • @lowkeyneon

    LOL Thats a Lie

  • @Resurgance72 yea, far from it...

  • @Resurgance72 stock for stock, its 99% true. the new 2011/2012 mustang GT does really nice on the track so who knows....

  • When people bring up the subject of the '12 GTR, I bring up the subject of the ZR1 or Viper and they usually shut up. WTF does the '12 GTR have to do with this video anyways? The R32 lost, you win some and lose some

  • @lilgookiemonsta

I agree with your last statement. You win some and you lose some. The only reason why I brought up the '12 GTR is because of its vast improvement over the previous generation of Skyline GTR. It's basically a supercar that cost cheaper than its European counter-parts and perform moderately better.

The ZR1 and Viper are good cars. I'm not denying that because they've both accomplished great achievements. BUT times are changing. It's obvious NIssan wants to be part of the game.

  • @CyberGTX09 Oh yeah. '12 GTR and '09 GTR are practically apples and oranges at this point. I honestly can't fathom how Nissan made that much improvement. Kind of reminds me of the 997.1 vs the 997.2. Nissan, as far as I'm concerned is already in the game.

  • @31Tate those dragsters that run 3 seconds in the quarter mile are 7000 HP not 3000 HP... They are ear drum busting feel the thunder American top of the line mucsle that the jap crap will never touch.

  • What they didn't show you was the right corner at the end of the road, and the Camaro rolling down a ditch.

  • I like how some of you people diss on this Skyline, but wouldn't even have the balls to diss the new 2012 GT-R.

Every time I see Supras smoke the living shit out of your muscle cars, what's the muscle car's excuse? Oh you have turbo. Well NO SHIT! It's called technology. It's good for you.

  • @CyberGTX09 GT-R is in a different category. Have you ever heard of top fuel dragsters since we are comparing regular cars to different categories? I do have allot of respect for GT-Rs though, and my wife wants one too so in a couple years. Just got to be careful not to blow in the drivetrain with hard starts, but I think am adult enough not to drag race anymore so it shouldnt be a problem

  • @CyberGTX09 look up the new ZR1 vs the new gtr. Gtr gets smashed and there aint a stock supra out there can touch the gtr so your statement you just pulled right out of your ass didnt you homo.

  • @suedepolo

Ah, an insecure comment about homosexuals. Provide me a link where it says the new ZR1 smashes the new GTR. In what category anyways? Nurburgring? And who said anything about "stock" Supra being able to beat the GTR? You need at least a T88 Supra to beat a GTR.

I'm not hating on American muscle cars. I'm hating at ignorant meatheads who defend their precious Camaro and bashes the Japanese import for no reason just because it lost at a DRAG RACE.

  • @CyberGTX09 You do realize every time a Supra beats a "muscle" car, it's cus it's modded right? A stock TT Supra is @ a Camaro's level at best.

  • @CyberGTX09 i have the balls to diss the 2012 GT-R... its another ugly awd POS from Nissan, Silvias are where its at

  • @CyberGTX09

I'll diss anything I want to lol... Like the GT-R... IF your going for the fastest in the world America has it. If your going for the most powerful, America has it. If your going for the BEST....

you see where im goin with this...

    AMERICA HAS IT.

  • @Resurgance72

The most powerful car as of now belongs to Germany. The most fastest car as of now still belongs to Germany. The highly regarded luxury cars still belongs to Germany. The most fuel-efficient car still belongs to Japan. The fastest 4-seater car from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds (GT-R) still belongs to Japan.

You see where I'm going with this...

GERMANY & JAPAN HAS IT. (as of now 2011)

  • @CyberGTX09 Yeah how the 2012 GT-R is a bunch of computer programs that control every aspect of the car. No skill required or needed to drive the friggin thing! And those so called "supras" you see "smoking" the naturally aspirated muscle cars have about 20 - 30k in mods done to the thing. Go mod of rmod and your supra cant smoke squat! Learn some facts before you speak out of your anus!

  • @pbee73

Nissan is just revolutionizing the future of "SuperCars". It's called forward thinking. As for the "modded" Supra, they come stock with turbos from the factory and can be tuned to however the customer pleases to tune them. A stock twin turbo Supra is just as fast as a stock 90's Camaro SS lol. I know that the Supra can't be compared to a 60's or 70's muscle car though because those were the REAL "muscle" cars with a shit load of torque.

  • @CyberGTX09 The point of having a car of such is to drive it at your own free will and enjoy the power. Not having a computer do all the calculations for you. Whats next? A sports car with no steering wheel and the entire family gets in it and travels from point A to B soley by telling the computer your destination? In that case a caravan will suit me just fine.

  • @pbee73

Who knows what Nissan will think of next? They never said anything about a sports car without a steering wheel. Have you forgotten that Nissan ALSO has manual transmission cars like the 350Z/370Z/240SX? Just because they chose to go automatic with the GT-R doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing. Having dual clutch actually helps at a drag race because no human being can shift FASTER than a computer and that is a fact.

  • @CyberGTX09 I am not a fan of auto's as a drag car. Like I said, it negates the drivers skill, same as using computers to launch it and for suspension calculations on cornering. I am pretty fast with my shifts (and confident) regardless of how fast an auto can shift. You might want to check out one of my shifting vids.

  • @pbee73

Auto's are actually favorable as a drag car. It's called power-glide transmission. It was designed by GM. Most Toyota Supra at a drag race prefer to use these type of transmission. Human reaction is just too slow compared to a computer's reaction. I know you prefer manual cars (as I do), but things are changing rapidly nowadays.

  • @pbee73 It actually comes down to how much power the car makes to whether an auto or manual would be more beneficial for drag racing. If you have a car driven on the street that sees some track time and runs no faster than a 11.50 or so, a manual is perfect, tons of fun to drive and slightly better mpg's (if driven tame). Anything faster than a 11.50 a stalled auto would be smarter cause they are much more gentle on the drivetrain at launch because of the torque converter.

  • @tpooleATL There are plenty of manual cars that run faster than 11 seconds. Auto or manual depends solely on the drivers preference. Anyone who knows how to launch a manual correctly wont need to use an automatic.

  • @pbee73 Lol I never said there aren't any manual cars running 10's, just that at that power level an auto is the smarter choice. Not everbody can slip a clutch at launch perfect.

  • @tpooleATL I never said that you stated there werent any manual cars running 10's. Your statement does indicate that though, but I didnt take it as that. Now if its a question of being able to launch a manual then it wouldnt matter what power level you are at, because fast of slow you would have no choice to use an auto.

  • im thinkin about how many times the corvette has won in their series.

  • i love skylines but the r33 is the fat bitch of that family i believe, i have to choose the camaro in this case it has the pussy magnet installed for sure lol

  • Its funny how when a ricer loses, they bring up racing through corners. When was the last time a skyline won in a Le Mans series???

  • @03svtpower name the last time a american branded car won a le mans series ? just sayn

  • @360wasian name the last time a ricer won against a muscle car WITHOUT having the need for turbo :P

  • @spartan1080

easy just look up yoshi built eg6 vs corvette

  • hell, I'd still take the skyline. More of a rarity than a Camaro. But I like that Camaro tho.

  • no replacement for displacement.

  • boost logic supra 246 mph

  • *will cost less to build to win

  • The skyline cost $30-70k, the Camaro, 20k new, maybe 10 today. So logic says the camaro will win. And drag racing shows what the cars made of, turns who what the drivers made of.

  • They forgot to record the turn, where the Camaro got its ass kicked by the Skyline because in real "racing" you don't go in a straight line the entire time. Yea, you can build a 3000hp+ dragster to go a quarter mile in 3 seconds, but if it only goes straight wuts the fucking point?

  • @31TATE so, you do alot of racing around corners in the real world huh?

    Rofl.

  • @testy462 if you were on the street racing scene you'd understand.

  • @31TATE ROFL

So the "street racing scene" is people diving around corners a breakneck speed eh? Get real This isn't F&F

Just because ricers roll around in their lowered civics and accords, dodging in and out of traffic, to make themselves feel better about their SLOW cars doesn't mean it has anything to do with handling.

Had to check your "street racing cred" on your vids I made it past the pure gay HONDA wheel cover before I closed the page lol Try clicking on mine for street races :)

  • @testy462 I never said I race myself. But my best friends race & I'm with them all the time. One of my friends has a turbo b18 hatch, and one of my other friends has a turbo 4 door integra with a type R engine imported from japan. Ive never seen him lose. Just saying.

  • @31TATE So in other words, you hang out with slow ricers that race other slow ricers... congrats.

And they are racing around curves in a B18 hatch? So in other words, not only are they slow ricers, but you have a death wish because you like to ride in them racing cut spring hatchbacks on 185 series tires flying around corners and cutting off minivan mom... lol.

  • @testy462 Yup good choke man, I watched the hatch beat an Ls1 Camaro, and a Mustang GT. so wutever?

  • @31TATE HOLY CRAP! NOT STOCK 13 second cars! NO WAY!

And I bet they were racing around corners too lol. GTFO poser.

  • @testy462 Im not sure where you're from, but most of the time Ls1 camaro's are not stock, nor do they run 13sec quarters.

  • @testy462 And your Muscle car makes how many Hp per liter?

  • @31TATE ROFL, really? A horsepower per liter argument? LOL.

Also, which planet are you on where LS1 powered F body's are not in the 13s?

Its pretty sad when not only do you have to live vicariously thru another (probably fictional) person, but you are doing so about someone that owns some gutted out pile of crap honda civic hatch lol. Life fail.

  • I Can also 100% guarantee that if that skyline had spent "Twice as much" as that HEMI, It would have absolutely flogged it in that race. You may think you know all your shit about V8's, but learn other cars before you go and sling words about them. SCHOOLS OUT!

  • @EESSnipes You are an idiot! yes you can get alot of hp out of a skyline but you can get way more with a v8. my firebird has a mild built 350 and I can get out the hole faster than a R35. Now before all of you rices flip you're bitch switches, I said get out of the hole, not out run it.

  • @fudgesickle1 i never said i hated Muscle cars, im not like that, i enjoy cars for the marvels they are. But im guessing you went and pulled the stock R35 0-60MPH numbers off the internet? What im trying to say, is if you spend the same amount of money on both cars, the skyline would win, the only thing that would let it down would be tuning issues. Another reason i prefer N/A engines.

  • @EESSnipes @EESSnipes I didn't pull R35's numbers off the net. I have a video on my profile of my firebird and an R35. my 60 foot time was 2 tenths faster. R35 ran an 11.7 and I ran a 13.053. As far as spending dollar for dollar on a skyline and v8, the v8 would win if drag racing. V8's are cheaper to build.

  • @fudgesickle1 not here, its cheaper to build a skyline. And we invented the LS1, so i dont understand how that works, but we have tougher laws on V8's and higher cylinder cars, which sucks ass.

  • POS skylines!

  • i personally think the 90s were bad for the camaro

the engines are so fucking week all about the 60s

  • @jon5nc the 80's you mean? the 93 z28 was the quickest production camaro to date at the time. the 97 ss ran a 12.99 stock. those were numbers the 67-69's could only dream of stock.

  • (well in a Hemi that's more like 300 more hp than you.

  • Ahh, import excuses- my 1.6L makes more hp per liter than your Hemi; 1. No it doesn't. It's not a ford. 2. Even if it is more efficient, I'm still making at least 100 more hp than you. Excuse 2: My car can make the same power as your v8. Ya, but with twice the money in it, half the life, and twice the vibration due to a smaller amount of cylinders balancing the engine, causing stress whereas a V8 works in a harmonic rhythm. Schools out.

  • @the934x4

Try a I6, flat-6, or a V12 for primary and secondary engine balance.

  • @the934x4 i must say well put

  • @Outraged86 or the skyline can't keep up.

  • that guy doesn't know how to drive his skyline

  • I got a new name for this vid" The video Ricers dont want you to see"

  • So what if there was a turn? Skyline would've won... Not in america

  • I wanna see that camaro against and R35

  • @MexicanMetal2012 ...yea yea and when he stomps the r35 what's gonna be your next excuse

  • @TheCHEVYNATOR I won't need an excuse cause it won't happen

  • @MexicanMetal2012 denial always comes before the excuse

  • @TheCHEVYNATOR Denial? What the hell are you talking about, I don't recall denying anything

  • now thts rape

  • Shyline's are cost a fucking ball sack ,you can pick a nice gt500 for 29 grand all-day long with like 2000 miles ,money well spent - forged hand built motor from the factory

  • A badass car is only as good as the driver is. I've seen California Daddy's boys with Shelby 500's get their ass kicked by someone who BUILT their car and knew what it could and couldn't do. We see this all the time. It is very agitating to see it happen like that. They just think that the sight of a Shelby alone will make you shit your bucket seat and that there isn't anything to racing, the Shelby'll win by itself.

  • i like v8s more but the nissan is a track car so what dose this prove

  • I think anyone in the modified car scene that has any understanding of how a car works will know that a video like this doesn't prove anything. with more money the skyline could win. and with more money again the camaro could win over that. which one would win with a million dollars spent on it?..probably the camaro.. a twin turbo v8 will usually smoke any turbo 6 when at the extremes of tuning. it comes back down to volumetric efficency and cubic capacity. yes skyline would win on a circuit.

  • @laurence265 not to mention that the V8 are more reliable under huge modifacations ,what i mean is when they do the work to the tuners they are weak ,not saying it like slow just sayin they have meore problems after problems exc..

  • whoooo camaro all the way

  • GIVE ME A SKYLINE ANY DAY !!!!

  • @shahspice Things ricers say.

  • FYI skylines are all-around cars! Drag, drift, and circuit...so no excuses for skyline driver! A wins a win and loss is a loss!

  • @GuamChamorro671 well said brother!!! totally fucking agree man!!!

  • You guys do know it could have been the drivers race, I own an ls1 gto 6m and I haven't been beaten yet( I can speed shift & double shift like crazy) but even I know that there's always someone better! If ur gonna own a fast car, better learn how to drive a fast car. Otherwise save urself the embarasment!

  • i love chevys, but i wonder who would win a race on a track with turns??

  • WS6 vs that camaro

  • Skylines arent even meant for drag racing i think ?

  • @mrputo27 they're still capable of running 8's and 7's. Very nice camaro there.

  • Yeah right a ls1 is a much better engine. Not to mention bigger displacement=bigger power

  • @m69ortiz hahaha you have alot to learn...

  • the camaro was modified skyline was not. skyline did not even sound it had a turbo

  • hahaha the camaro was just playin with the ricer at the start hahaha good shit.

  • The Skyline is still a WAY better car than that trailer park special.

  • @demoskunk Yeh cause chicks really like the sound of a fart cannon VS the vibration and hell raising sound of nothing but straight torque

  • @demoskunk Pretty good that the trailer park technology just shat all over the skyline. Go back to playing gran turismo.

  • Hell yeah, what is that, an LT1, LT4 or LS1?

  • DANM RIGHT!!!!!!!

  • Of course... A drag race... Let's move on ppl, nothing to see here...

  • GAY SKYLINE!!!!!!!

  • i like both cars. :)

  • Lol these ricer guys have never drivin a pro mod so they would say "it's jst flooring it"

  • Just like a ricer to say "Drag racing is just flooring it". There's more to it when you have to the power to smoke the tires, and not just chirp em.

  • @stlchucko Oh yea because smoking the tires is a real skill, Why don't you take your Gaymaro or some other gaymerican car stock and take it to the Nurburgring. I'm pretty turning left and right will be hard for you.

  • @fatdudefoshizzle Seems to me that Chevy has a car that can run with an Enzo there. I suppose the CTS-V running the fastest lap for a production 4 door car at the Ring means nothing as well.

  • @stlchucko It actually does because it shows Americans can make something good out of all the other shit it makes

  • @fatdudefoshizzle Yes it is skill because most import drivers have to learn how to floor the gas and do a standing burnout. Trust me turning left and right isn't hard at all when you have something called...Oh what was it....Uh Something to do with the Bodykit uh yeah Rear WHEEL DRIVE. When the car Oversteers its called DRIFTING or Cornering. Trust me i have a '72 Chevy Pickup that can take really tight turns at 40 Miles Per Hour and it only has a 195 Horsepower 350 V8.

  • @1970CamaroZ hahaha Are you calling me a ricer lol...dude get of the internet if your going to be that retarded and like I've said before its all about the european cars

  • @fatdudefoshizzle I never said anything about Ricer so where did you get that? Check out the ZR1 Corvette or the Cadillac CTS-V if your gonna play the Euro Cars card. Or just for the hell of it look up the 2010 Hennessy Camaro HPE1000 427 LSX Supercharged 6.2 L V8. I promise you will change your perspective on any American car.

  • What a waste of fuel, the Camaro needs better competition. lol

  • what were u sayin about nisaans bein awesome?

  • European cars > all.

  • @hurrhurrbtard in ur dreams

  • drag races dont have turns ass hats

  • then all hell breaks loose and the camaro hits the wall.

  • @tomuchimport I know right, drag racing is the most retarded thing out there next to nascar

  • @fatdudefoshizzle Its only retarded because your imports can't dominate it stock. You have to have about 4 or 5 turbos to compete with a AMERICAN car.

  • all fun 'till the turn comes.

  • @xStyXx i dont even understand what that means? why couldnt the camaro take turns with a set of coilovers?

  • @dumbluck0629 should just change your name to dumass.

  • @thekidnw yea ok, im just tired of people who know nothing about anything making dumb ignorant comments. like you so go fuck your sister and make puppies you jerkoff

  • @thekidnw You mean Dumbass right?

  • @dumass0629 lmao you think a fucking set of coilovers is all it need to compete with a skyline on a course. Go fuck yourself for that fucking failed statement.

  • @thekidnw yea because skylines and all imports are so much better handling cars then American pieces of shit right? stop reading tuner magazines and listening to your friend who drives the civic hatch. how bout you do some research and look at cars that actually get road raced and you'll be surprised how many American cars are murdering you beloved imports . so please stop talking about something you have not a single ounce of knowledge about

  • @dumbluck0629

american..carss murdered imports...the only american cars i know of who could compete on a track like for example tsukuba would be the corvettes an camaro's that are used at gt races... those are the ONLY cars i know of

  • Seriously one of the most biased group of commenting fanboys on youtube. I love how you wannabe muscle heads talk shit, "Oh the Camaro fucked up the Skyline", "Turbo got spanked by N/A". Blah fucking blah. It's no wonder a lot of Americans are so fucking narrow minded, their limits are a straight line. This BUILT Camaro may be quick straight line, but on a track, it wouldn't stand a chance even against this RWD 4 banger.

  • @phattacorider the skyline is a straight 6 btw, not a 4 banger..

  • @quadracer111

    Yeah whoops, my bad lol.
