Why the hell does everyone say you should use steady aim with the striker? You DO NOT NEED steady aim, and it's a waste of a perk for using the striker. Use SitRep or dead silence instead. And for all of you put there that are wondering what the best striker setup is you are in luck. This is what I use. By the way, disregard what the guy in the Video recommended because its good but not beast. Here is beast: 1. Scavenger. 2. Overkill with an assault rifle of your choice w. either attachments

Getting the Striker to max proficiency is easily the most rewarding part of this game. The Striker is just so good with Ext. Mags, and as long as you get around 30 kills a game, you'll be at max prof. in no time at all.

And also in regards to a thing about shotgun compared to mw2 I agree or I did more a bit ago. The shotguns are not great butit rake a whole diff way to use them we are just used to the opness of the mw2 spaz it's not realized but if you tried to make the shottys compare to the other weapons mw3 would be overrun with them..

Every gun has it's perks and drawbacks as long as it has enough draw backs it is balanced. The ump had average damage high rang and high accuracy. I really hope its not getting patched :( shotguns are already poo and if anything need a buff... Right now you have to shove the barrel of your shotgun up a guys ass and then fire to get a 1 shot kill...3 feet with most shotguns means 2 shots or more, and with a KSG you lose even if you surprise them.

@dennisman222 The only real negative side is although extreme, still has limited range on it ad the long reload time, so if you plan on using it make sure you take time to reload safely. Like he says in the video, i too use range and exxtended mags with extreme conditioning assassin dead silence, with specialist SOH sitrep and scavenger.

I've been using the model 1887 a lot, (have some content of it on my channel) and comparing the striker to the model, I defenately learnt that the striker tends to be verry OP with steady aim, it's veeery hard to miss with this gun, because of it's extreme range. Good breakdown btw!

simply one of the most fun weapons in the game. it will be a shame when 402 neuters this weapon, because you have to suffer through all of the leveling up to get to the exteneded mags. I think if I go through all of that, I should be able to receive more pellets in a weapon. This gun is not over powered. Over powered would be hitting people across the map with it like you could do witht he model 1887's from MW2.

Wait a min... The increased buckshot is a glitch? Are you fucking kidding me? Shotguns are SO underpowered even with perks. Extendo mags & range/damg perks are the ONLY things they have going for them. And its currently a good thing. They suck early on, everyone knows this and it keeps the noobs away from them. You have to work your way towards a better shotgun and it makes it feel more important and unique. If there gonna NERF the mag bonus then they gotta fix hit registration up close.

Striker is going to get patched, should have done this on the USAS. It's very similar, just not quite as dominant. 1887 is also an excellent shotgun if you're accurate.

strikers pretty good. i use it but i don't do nearly as good with it as people who use it all the time (duh). and if you run into someone with an SMG, chances are you won't fare too well. shotguns in mw3 are good when you catch people off guard. even if it's just a little bit.

@mikkapunkcod I don't think the pp90m1 is op at all it has the same damage as the ump45 and is just as effective as the mp7 and it has less rang then the ump45. So if the pp90m1 is op so is the ump and the mp7.

Striker is op. I love the USAS 12 a little iffy but if you know how to use it you can do really good and it is just an awesome feeling owning with an underpowered weapon. The striker has to much damage and range for a weapon with so fast a fire rate. It is just not balanced compared to every other gun in the game.

@mikkaPunkCOD Striker with the damage proficiency and grip is a bit overpowered (I've shot and killed people with one shot from that from a 2nd story window), but the guns you listed are definitely overpowered. And the unrealistic thing is something stupid little kids say. A shotgun can be used to take down targets that are pretty far away.
