I agree! I didn't know she had an accent until now, and it's awesome! It always amazes me when actors change accents so convincingly, like Hugh Laurie. Hah this is cool, makes me love the show even more!

i hate to say it, but as hard as i tried, i just couldn't find walter's distraughtness convincing, and Peter's manufactured response to handle him only compounded the situation, i don't think it's their fault though, it's the script and it's hard to fit all that plot and effects into these hour segments, but since episode 1 i've never been able to empathize with the characters, but that's not why i watch it.
