In general, these Occupy protests that are popping up are showing solidarity with the rest of the Occupy movement. Of course, then you would ask what the Occupy movement stands for, and I cannot answer that. I know they wish to see an end to social inequality. That's a very broad goal. 1. THE CHancellor said that protests were ok, but that TENTS WERE NOT ALLOWED.
2. Police went in to remove tents. Many students tried to physically stop the police from removing the tents, and some were arrested.
3. MANY PROTESTERS SURROUNDED the FEW POLICE, and they threatened to NOT LET THE OFFICERS go Unless they released the ARRESTED.
4. Police officers used pepper spray to DISPERSE the Circle of protesters who WOULDN'T LET POLICE OFFICERS LEAVE THE AREA.

In general, these Occupy protests that are popping up are showing solidarity with the rest of the Occupy movement. Of course, then you would ask what the Occupy movement stands for, and I cannot answer that. I know they wish to see an end to social inequality. That's a very broad goal. In my opinion, they should be trying to get representatives in government and legislate.

We are not proud for the injustices that we have done but we as americans are proud of the justified and honorable things we have done. The spraying was well deserved in my opinion and much better than being tazed, which I would have been apalled by. There are other videos out there that show what happened before and around this event that better portray what was occuring.

I understand most of the occupy groups but not on campus. If you think that the degree no longer offers a good ROI then you go to a college that does or if obtaining a degree in general no longer offers a good ROI you start a bossiness or obtain a trade. You don't pay for and then act victimized.
