We need to remove the monetary requirement to run for public office, this is an easy thing to do; create c-span(state) a channel for each state that allows candidates with the proper requirements for office (signatures) to gain free, equal, in person only, air time; this would bust out the 2 party system, allow those with real ideas to gain office, remove the practice of feel good/bad campaigns.
