Dumbasses saying this kid is bad. He throws 93 righty I have personally seen him do it. and I believe he throws mid seventies lefty. He recently won an award for being the best hs pitcher in ny. And he's only a junior so shut the fuck up
Although we have already talked I have one question, when you first startes pitching lefty did it feel like you had no power accuracy or mechanics because Im trying to learn how to pitch lefty and I feel exactly like this. I feel like Im throwing like I was in 9-10 baseball.
u want to stay on top of the ball remeber.and are u just learning like know at 14 or have u benn throwing both sice u where young cause i would love to learn to throw lefty
how hard are you throwing lefty now, or what is your max distance in long toss. not sure how hard i'm throwing but i'm out to 70 yards now lefty. have only throw for about a week total from april till now (sep 6)
You DO know that Venditte started when he was like 4, NOT 14, right?
So the motion was MUCH more natural.
And that the Yankees (and the folks at Creighton, for that matter) were pretty reluctant to use both arms at first.
My money is on you blowing out your arm before your sophomore year of college. Especially since you've got an attitude problem and you are nowhere near coachable.
Enjoy flipping burgers the rest of your life, Tuoz.
I didn't hear you argue any of my points....interesting. Find me an article that teaches people to pitch with their elbow below their head, and I'll shut up. Also, this "pitching exercise" you're doing is completely wrong. Keep leading with your GLOVE! hahaha
Way to not get your back elbow up. Also, I don't know many pitchers that lead with their GLOVE. At that point in your motion, your glove should be tucked in and you should be leading with your elbow. The baseball is practically below your head, it should be above your head with your hand on top of the ball.
the glove that i own has 5 fingers...one in the middle two beside it..i have tpx louisville...pat venditte has a different brand i think it is mizuno im not sure
i have the same glove, louisville slugger tpx and its 5 fingered, one finger is where your last two fingers go. venditte is sponsered by mizuno. they have a different glove
I just tried what you did and i throw with left hand a little bite slower than with my right hand and the control goes some times wrong but it's still good enough for a game O.O
For real i never knew i could throw with 2 different arms
Thanks for the video!
Gone try that more out so i can throw harder with left hand This will be very very very useful for a game!
Where did u get your glove

But you're probably going to just dismiss anything I have said as someone who knows nothing.
Will you make me look silly in the batter's box, too?

how long does it take to start getting comfortable with it?
ufgators33 3 years ago
takes about 2 - 3 months of throwing this way consistantly before your muscle memory takes over,
