  • Este es mucho el parche! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • OH YEAH..and RINGO is playing..My favourite BEATLE FOR SURE..

  • I have always really loved this song.. AND ALWAYS WILL.

  • Dnload the audio from this clip at speedyconversion doht cohm.

  • PLEASE COME BACK YEARS BEFORE 2007! I FEEL SO LONELY NOW!

  • Heeeeeey hooooo always kick me in the face

  • Nice song

  • You just can't fade this song........ or John Waite!

And Ringo looks great for freakin' 70!

  • Hey John Waite is an awesome singer and it doesn't matter what band he plays with.

  • great tune . good tempo, very hard to play with two drummers... he is not lacking tempo, he was behind the pocket... which means that he is singing slightly behind the beat... its purpose? to emphasize lyrics.... like you are talking rather than singing the words

  • do you even know who john waite is? he's the guy singing this song?????

  • he lacked the tempo with the music. it was as though he was out of breath at several points in his singing.

  • @vhuynhsfsu It's on purpose.

  • whoa !!! that was a blast from the past !!! tyvm youtube!!!

  • Ooooh I enjoyed that! Thank you for posting!

  • you're the best john waite, you got the best song ever...........

  • Great song..and Ringo holding it all together...

  • ringo doesnt look that old surprisingly

  • God, what a great live version, John singing his ass of and Ringo flipping Star on the drums. God, I would have love to have been sitting front row to this gig.

  • Great Song, Great Band!

  • Is it just me, or does the red-headed guy clapping at 4:20 remind anyone else of Ron Howard?

  • @mohansen11 not only does he look like Ron Howard but that hot chick next to him has a huge set of tits :-).

  • Great song, superb performance.

    Absolutely awesome!!!

  • This was an excellent performance

  • I kept thinking, is that Colin Hay on guitar, stage right, and then at 3:18 I could tell it was him. Colin's voice. Excellent. John Waite sounds fantastic in this recording. Maybe some American Idol kids could take his example that you don't have to sing stupid scales (often out of key) or try to emulate these new false-strange-lady voices that keep popping up. Sing from your own voice already, people!

  • John Waite is like a good wine. Gets better with age.

  • Cool!!!!

  • Thanks PhillipCarol for posting this; especially the background blurb that puts this into context. As you said, before he wrote this - he was the heart and soul of the phenomenal "The Babys". How phenomenal? So phenomenal, that most people today don't even know they ever existed.

  • Cuantos recuerdos inolvidables me trae está canción de mi niñez. tus letras son increibles que hablan del amor.gracias Jhon.Teresita from Iquitos Perú

  • There's a storm waging through my frozen heart tonight... I love this song's intense passion. You don't believe him when he sings that he isn't missing you at all... either he's a psycho and he means it or he's intensely practicing denial of the senses...

  • Jhon Waite que gran e inolvidable recuerdo con esta canción, y cuando Rod steward la canta me emociono hasta lo más infinito, son adorables, felicitaciones.Teresita from Perú.

  • Really awsome song.

  • Cuantos recuerdos de mi vida en USA! tremenda voz, todos us discos in increíbles

  • Awesome live performance. It reminds of GTA Vice City. 80s comeback for sure!!!

  • You will never hear a voice like this again! Just awesome.

  • speechless, really is gr8...

  • Thanks for sending me this... Pity Ringo blotted his copy book!

  • A great All Starr Band- Colin Hay on lead guitar, John Waite rhythm guitar, Paul Carrack on keyboards (what a voice), Mark Rivera on everything else, and on drums- Sheila E and RINGO the Greatest!

  • con mucho amor para mi linda esposita, excelente tema de los 80s................

  • Awesome song awesome musician

  • No way. This guy hasn't aged.

  • Coolest Cool! Kill me every time

  • TUNE! So Awesome...

  • a lovely song.. still great voice John ... great.

  • Nice post ........thanks......philipcarol

    great share tricia

  • I absolutely LOVE the live non-acoustic version of this song!

  • I love John Waite's voice.

  • A great song with a great performance. I belive that is also Colin Hay from Men at Work playing guitar.

  • i really love this song... its good to see J,Waite again and Ringo too....aweasome!!!!

  • John I still love you. You are even sexier now

  • this has got to be the most romantic song. I was so in love with John Waite.

  • It's hard to explain to another, "No matter what my (Heart) say's, "In your world, I have no meaning.

  • Good song. Enjoy seeing good old Ringo here.

But, to me, the lyrics are a typical example of how we try to disguise what we truly feel.

"Ain't missing you at all .." means "I miss you a lot .."

  • I just love listening to Ringo and his All Stars Band!! Ringo you are soo talented!!

    RINGO!!!

  • I first heard this when I played GTA Vice City. Awesome 80s tune.

  • Quit hating, this is such a beautiful song

  • Thank u so much for posting ! A concert is great ever since I found this on youtube !

    Good job.

  • Saw this version of Ringo's All Star Band in '03 in Milwaukee. Fantastic show with Sheila E, John Waite, Colin Hay (Men At Work), Paul Carrack, and an incredible sax player, Mark Rivera. Bought the DVD of that years lineup, one of my fvorite live music DVD's. This video is one of the songs on it.

  • Oh my word!! They sell this on DVD where did you pick it up at? And how can I get my hands on a compy of this tour or line up. I love John Waite and Colin Hay!!!!!!! Anyways, if you have any idea how to get my hands on some John Waite concerts, old ones from the 80's, I'd love to know about them. Anyways, thanks. I love John Waite!!!!!!!

  • Got the DVD from Amazon. Search DVD's for Ringo Starr, this is Ringo Starr & His All-Star Band - 2003. Best Buy might have it. This was Ringo's best vocal lineup yet. Men At Work Songs are the hits "Who Can it Be Now" (Colin Hay rocks!) and "Land Down Under". Paul Carrack doing "How Long" from his band ACE was great. I saw the Babys in '75 for less than $1.00 at The Uptown Theater in Milwaukee, same place Springsteen played in '75. There was a bomb scare at that show, Bruce played 'til 2:30 AM!

  • Right on, I'll deffenetly look into the DVD. Yeah, I this is one of the best live versions of this song I've heard. There use to be a live version of this song from John Wait's No brakes tour back in '84, i think it was, which is another awesome live version. Anyways, hopefully John will come to Washington next time he tours.

  • bravoooooooooo!!!! you touch my tralala...

  • he is still great

  • He changed some lil passages of the songtext but still...he is great and the song is great, anyways...always so touching...

  • Loved the Evan Dando cover of this but I'm not a fan of that other American dude who does it all earnest and sincere, as though its his own song, or anyone could actually execute it as sweetly as the original. Never get tired of this song.

    God bless Youtube

  • So great!!! Luv this vid. Cheers!

    Luv

    Natasha

    xoxo

  • What an awesome performance of a great song.

  • Sheila E,still makes me sha!! boing! boing!

    and the songs still fantastic.

  • man..what a great song!!! thanks!!!

  • his vocals are still as great as ever!
