sérieux , parfois j'ai du mal a comprendre la finalité , prendre des images d'un film de merde avec des acteurs de merde pour mettre en relief un morceau de paradise lost , j'estime que la musique se suffisait à elle même , quel carnage
this video is made with extracts from Luc Besson's film called Angela with French actor Jamal Debouze and the actress Rie Rasmussen. An amazing film by the way!!!
Hey Luc Besson fans. We have created a music video for our song "Made of Illusion" borrowing scenes from this amazing film. The story of our song fits perfectly with the story of the film. Check it out if you want: /watch?v=xuSDwdnbzh8
It's also a video response to this video
We don't mean to spam this video. It is just a small tribute to a great director.
i wonder why PL went back to the old style :) anyway this is what i want to hear, this is the Paradise Lost i knew/remember/respect.Thank you for this
@lerat0 they changed record companies for a while... they were with Sony for some years and they tried to change them into making "pop" songs. Then afterwards they abandoned Sony and went back to independent record companies and the old sound was back.
@gloomylex This is absurd, PL's music has never been pop music, and even though they had a different approach in their sound with One Second, Host and Believe In Nothing, their sound and their songs were always enjoyed by only a select few. If it takes balls to play metal, it takes really huge balls to change your sound and risk losing your fans in the sake of progress. And that's why we love Paradise Lost and EVERYTHING they've done.-
@FixxxerZ7 I bought my first PL CD 17 years ago, I'm not just some random person who just found this band. Their "Depeche Mode" phase (with Host and Believe In Nothing) lasted while they were on EMI, as soon as they got out, they went back to metal (sorry I said Sony first). If it was progress as you call it, why did they go back to what they were before they changed record companies?I didn't like them any less because they sold out for a few years. I simply prefer their metal sound.
@gloomylex Well, first of all, I've also been listening to PL since 1995, but that doesn't make my opinion, or yours, any better than the opinion of a person who started listening to PL three or 2 years ago. Second, up to this date, Greg and Nick, and I'm sure all the other guys too, consider Host one of their best and most special albums. It's your right to prefer any sound you want, but that doesn't mean that One Second (which is much less metal too) or Host are not masterpieces
@FixxxerZ7 Totally agree.I also think that Host is one of their best albums. My take on the shift of labels:it was that anybody who listened PL knew that were something really special and wanted to see them "go places".There were always this push,to go further to expand. The change of looks and label is not really important, because they remained the same musically. Why they came back?Because they were loosing the gap too much and wanted to continue to do what they love:making music.
@gloomylex And it most definitely does not mean they sold out at any point in their career. Selling out would be to play the same stuff over and over again after their breakthrough with Draconian Times. Also, their most recent stuff, like their 2-3 last albums are EXACTLY what the fans want, so how is that more sincere than a great risk and a change in sound?
