By jove .. act number two is Matt Monroe. Not really my type of music but he had a great voice and apparently the great Sinatra rated him. He's also having something of a revival at the moment.

As far as I'm concerned rock music started in 1964 with the Beatles and other British groups. Before that music was an arid wasteland with only an occasional song worth listening to.
