Remember from my childhood, too far to go to Seaworld so it was nice to go here, too bad its closed. Disney should have bought it.

Orky and Corky were moved to SeaWorld when it bought Marineland. Actually, I believe Corky (the female) is still alive today.

have been to Marineland in Palos Verdes Peninsula, before they turned the park into the Terranea Resort, i almost got caught onces but blended in with the mexican fishermen, & took the dangerous coast road to Portuguese bay !

It closed around 1987 cos thats when orky and corky were moved to seaworld

9 out 10 orcas are dead from marineland.

Corky 2 is still alive @ sea world and is the only one left from marineland that is still alive.

This brought back some old memories. I was a diver at Marineland and started before it was even opened. It was a great adventure that I shall never forget. I often wonder what happened to all gang from that time. Thank you for putting this video up. Bill Tinsley
