@brujero13 Yes it really works great! I just got a .625 big bore blowgun & it can really tear up those bamboo darts. The glue helps a lot. I also found out that for pistol style crossbows if you coat the whole bow string in super glue they last a very very long time before replacing.

@busyhands94 Yes they float! Man we must be on the same level. I just ordered a Fishing Compound Crossbow that comes with fishing hook bolts with a reel on the Crossbow. Also has a internal mag to hold steel ball bearings & shoots those too :-)

@thunderboyify I was thinking that the other day when I seen a big bore blow gun. They are very easy to make you just need a tube. The ammo is 1/2 the battle.

if you buy the some stun darts that have a small screw like head on the end (basically a blunt metal tip stun dart) and also buy the wooden spikes (shown in video) with a slight bit of sanding to the non sharp end the stick will fit perfectly into the factory made and unmodified cone. Thus lowering the chance of a faulty dart. For extra power glue three straightened staples (industrial type) on in equal intervals just behind where the point of the wooden stick stops. makes nice wound channels

i made a homeade blowgun about 5 feet long with just a copper pipe and a reducing coupler for the mouthpeice and shooting like 6 inch metal flag markers i get completely through an apple

Please, if you are hurting animals with needle darts, use my home made darts with razorblades easy to make u can buy the materials everywhere..

So the animal doesn't have to suffer and don't have a chance to run away

I already tried them out they kill squirrels easy..

Let me know if they also worked for other animals , please.

@sheluvscrocs I have been making Blowguns since I was 10 years old your not to young. Bambo will work but will be very difficult to smooth out the barrel. Use PVC Pipe. Select the bore size you want 40-60 cal is best 50 cal is a 1/2 inch wide. Darts can be made out of almost anything. You can take a eraser of a pencil with metal put a needle thew the eraser & glue some yarn strains in the other end for a nice plinking dart.

@sheluvscrocs It is easy to aim. There is a new laser sight for blow guns that looks cool. Check out BudK for a blowgun or Google one. You can even make a blow gun from parts from the hardware store.

@aztell05 Yes longer the barrel the better the bigger the bore the better. Work on breathing so you can get the strongest puff of air. But yes they will kill!!!!

these darts are awesome for flat, accurate shooting. plus, once you hit an animal with it, they are usually so awkward with having this giant stick thru them they are fairly easy to catch and coup de grace if the dart didn't kill them. Thanx for the vid! Never seen them for a .40 cal, awesome!

olny 625 cal has bamboo so pep wit 40 cal and 50 cal dont go on the internet to find some when i hade my 40 cal i spent at least a hour and a half of my life i ordering one thats a 625 cal right now comes wit 12 spear head darts 12 stun darts 6 broad head darts and 6 bambo 40 cal broke im glad bambo darts here i come

i found a good was is if you have feathers, rap it around infront of the cone (the feathers have spaces so i use the cones to make a airtight seal) and it is the best way i have found of makeing darts (i'll try to make a vid son)

@Townsville101 you usually cant get a store bought one for a homemade blowgun but what i did was i got a little film canister and cut a hole the size of my blowgun at the base and slid it onto my blowgun and taped it for a mouth piece and it works great. hope this helps =)

Yes these darts would work better with a big bore blow gun but I have strong lungs so it works good for me. I plan to just make a big bore but need to find a good mouth peace

40 Cal. is what mine is so .25 cal. would be 1/4 inch Also .50 cal. is haf inch hope this helps

Yup I have done the same thing in the past but super glue was not enuff to hold them in place with A notch in the skewer I will try it agen this time with J&B weld but yes A good head shot with A long blow gun will kill A rabbit.

They fly verry far and are more accurate. You can coat the whole dart or just the tip with epoxy or super glue

Yea tired of seeing all these toy darts people are making and posting. Bambo darts go way back before firearms. Because they work.
