@DethEetFace: Oh, goody - You corrected yourself. =)
But, you see, all of that doesn't matter because Alcohol and Tobacco cause more problems for and kill a greater percentage of their users than do Marijuana and MDMA. Quad Erat Demonstrandum, says I. ^.^ Shall I say it again? You FAIL, sir. I need do little more than bite my thumb or stick my tongue out at you now.
MDMA is not addictive, and dopamine/serotonin don't cause illness. Again, you FAIL, sir. You're the retard for taking MDMA at greater than 0.5 pill per dose at a frequency of every two weeks. See? This is what I like to call the responsibility difference. Some people, like you, simply lack the self control for consuming ANY recreational drug, safely.
And on the off chance one gets LSD by mistake, LSD is non-toxic. BOOSH!
@DethEetFace: Again, you FAIL. =) Alcohol's legal because its prohibition FAILed - like ecstasy and marijuana prohibitions are FAILing. And, of course, the alcohol and tobacco industries' lobbying doesn't hurt. ^.^
We, the ravers, die LESS because 1) Again, E's not addictive. 2) E doesn't cause irrational anger or behavior, 3) We are in better shape and get more exercise. Don't even try talking cardiovascular health with me, Mr. Beer Belly. We win. ^.^
@DethEetFace: You'll die of liver failure or alcohol-induced accident long before I get so much as a MDMA-induced headache. Alcohol is worse, overall, for people and society. Deal with it. ^.^
@DethEetFace: You can't post links because you're retarded, lol. =)
Try watching some documentaries, eh? You know - those videos in which a narrator, opponent, or proponent goes about doing a lot of research and presenting a lot of research. MDMA was first synthesized, by chance, at a laboratory owned by German pharmaceutical company, Merck, in 1912 - and it existed only as a formula on faded paper until Alexander Shulgin recreated it and presented it to therapists 60 years later. You FAIL, sir.

You keep talking about Meth, but MDMA is not Meth. Chemistry, son! Chemistry... A few molecules make a world of difference. ^.^ You're not arguing anymore, because you're a brain-damaged retard. BOOSH! Us here in America banned the fine drug MDMA like we banned the fine drug Marijuana. Yet neither drug is dead, and neither drug will ever die.
TroLoLoLoL gonna get fed until fat, and die on its own. ^.^
@DethEetFace: So... Sensitivity is not a pre-existing condition? LoLoLoL?!
I just love ripping trolls new assholes. ^.^ Though MDMA is NOT Meth, it is sometimes cut with Meth because it is only available through criminal manufacturing. MDMA has nothing to do with race, and is not Acid-dosed unless that's what you're looking for. Yet alcohol kills more people because most any dose of it can be fatal.
MDMA users don't drive while intoxicated, because the act of taking MDMA is not recreational. ^.^
@DethEetFace: Headaches and permanent brain damage? Well... Now we know why you're retarded. ^.^ BUT MDMA is NOT the cause of cluster headaches, retard. Any mind-altering substance can aggravate your pre-existing condition.
Then there are things like "Wrong-way Drunk Driver Kills Family of 5" But poor you, with your headaches. Get the fuck outta here. ^.^
@DethEetFace: We can, we will, and we DO, because both are drugs and both have recreational uses. It is not us, but YOU who is retarded for your ignorance of the parallel.
Alcohol causes more problems and kills more people by PERCENTAGE. Because: 1) Alcohol is addicting. MDMA is not. 2) Alcohol is recreational in consumption and effect. MDMA is only recreational in effect. 3) Alcohol impairs rationalization. MDMA does not.
Too much alcohol and you get in a car and kill OTHER PEOPLE.
You can't compare the social impact of a widely available legal drug (alcohol) with a street drug of variable quantity that is only used by a much smaller percentage of the population, many of whom are not actually taking ecstasy when they think they are.
Please note the video is explaining basic terms, not strict damage to the brain dose per dose. Let me explain , you drop ecstasy on the week ends for 1 month. And then you drink alcohol on the week ends for 1 month. The drug causing more strict brain damage and changes, is 100% positively ecstasy. It would take i'd say 10x as much alcohol abuse to cause the damage ecstasy can. This is coming from a fellow roller who has researched and experienced.
Id like to say this as someone who has tried (and enjoys) both drugs. Whats more dangerous than either "alcohol" or "ecstasy" is the idea that it's fine to take either drug very often and not face significant problems. For instance people don't think drinking alcohol is a big health issue, so they end up drinking A LOT and medium-heavy alcohol users face some serious issues while people who think ecstasy is a potentially more dangerous drug and rarely/never do it and don't have very many issues.
I remember then did a 60 minuets segment on how they retracted their statement and it really didn't cause as much brain damage as they were saying.... just another way society tries to keep us from doin stuff that has an effect they aren't use to same thing with weed
I think both are dangerous when taken in high amounts, taking too much of anything isn't good for you. But obviously more people die and are affected by alcohol because of the simple fact that alcohol is more popular and widely consumed than E. If the same amount of people took ecstasy, I can guarantee that we'd see more people affected by it. It is possible to die from E if you overdose. In fact, it's easier to overdose E than alcohol. But most people who take E don't overdose.
@GaeilgeSpraoi not true ... you can't overdose on it... you can only die from not takin care of yourself while on it like not drinkin enough water or drinkin too much....
@lBoogie1208 Of course you can overdose on it! You can overdose on any drug including caffeine and alcohol. It's rare though that anyone overdoses on it as it's estimated that you'd need to take a lot of pills to overdose but it's possible nevertheless. It usually results in hyperthermia. But I agree, most people who take or have taken E haven't experienced difficulties and it really isn't the "killer drug" the media would have us to believe. The E here in Dublin is shite my friend got flour! :/
@ToxinalX if you drink too much alcohol, but drinkin only makes the effects more intense. And I've researched it alot and never has anyone gone into a coma from takin too many. I've seen a kid take 18 in less than 4 hours so i think thats highly unlikley...

@Boulderdawg2 on the contrary, one is legal, and far more dangerous than one that is not. It's basically asking, "why is alcohol legal when it has worse side effects than ecstasy, and yet, ecstasy is illegal."
alcohol makes people aggressive, uncoordinated, poisoned.. ecstacy is the opposite.. however you can overdose both ways... alcohol has been around for ages, and people know how much to take to stay 'safe'. Noone has had enough education or history on ecstacy.

Long term use of ecstasy can cause depression when not using the drug.
It is in fact known to induce a coma if the user takes to much of it .
Also IF it is combined with alcohol it can be lethal.
