  • Da Boogie Woogie Queen!!

  • WOW! I've been a fan of Marcia's since 1976, Austin! Glad to still be in the area and THANK YOU Louisiana for the extended loan on this AMAZING talent!!! This video takes me back. Thank you! Wish I could find something circa '76-ish.

Thank you for sharing this!! KUDOS

  • How can those people just SIT THERE???

  • 3:33 YouTube video: Marcia Ball singing La Ti Da; at the 1987 Armadillo Christmas Bazaar, Austin, Texas.

March 20, 1949: birth of Marcia Ball, American singer and pianist.

  • An American treasure. So under rated.

  • This lady is awesome. Hopefully I can play piano half as good as her. LOL

  • Long Tall Marcia Ball...love her so much! Always has a huge smile on her face and always has great energy at her shows.

  • gulldog1 saw her 4 times, tore the roof off every time, fabulous

  • I saw two her shows this year. She is far better than she was in this great video! You will not be disappointed! Her writing is also great. If you get a chance, listen to her "peace, Love, and BBQ" album. It gave me a new perspective on the Texas hurricane folks. She is terrific in person!

  • Her voice is lower and rougher - very sexy and bluesy.

  • I don't know how I missed this extraordinary musician, writer, and singer. She really brings the house down. Every show is different and her shows get better over time!

  • She flies under the radar, that's for sure.

East Texas born, Louisiana raised, Austin based.

  • An awsome Southern talent. How did I miss hearing her?
