@sancak099 Hi- I introduce the video, then put subtitles accrosss the video , there is no talking beyond the introduction- I appologise for not taking into account youtubers with special needs- I will bear this in mind & factor in care in the community- thanks for your input
My FSZ600 94" idles like crap. acceleration is good and engine braking is fine. but when i try to maintain a speed 30mph or anything its jumps all over the place. Its been stood a while and iv only just bought it. I stripped it changed usual things. plugs oil etc but i think the carbs need balancing / syncing.. anyone agree ?? please help
@shsmustangs - hi- yes its a "twin"- 2 cylinder engine- this can be used not problem!- I have an Africa Twin (750) which is a 2 cycliner bike also...I will put up a video sometime of the easy process. I do not work for carbtune, just use the excellent kit!- give them a call at carbtune.com- realley helpful guys
Deam, the bars at my bike are not so stable above idle and cant tune . Can anyone tell me why is this ? My suspision is that i havent tuned the gas-air mixture at the main carburatos
I own this Carbtune tool...fantastic product! I've used it to synch the carbs on my old ZRX and now use it to synch the throttlebodies on my Aprilia Mille....very quality tool!
@Turco949 Hi there- the calibration is covered in detail in the manual that accompanies the carbtune- i'm just an end user & if I could undertsand it- you will too!.. you just need to get all level & balanced- I felt I spent too much video time balancing(raising/dropping the levels etc)-I will be doing an Africa Twin shortly- & will show a diferent method- subscribe if you get a chance- then you can see it!---thanks for the kind comments
@khrutherford The carbtune website says they ship to the "rest of the world" for 3 British pounds so total for the tool and the shipping its about $95. so its a little cheaper than the Motion Pro tool even.
i know this bloke he`s called RON, top bloke does all his own stuff, he`s no dummy, knows what he is talking about, so don`t piss him off ,or grant mitchell will come and sort you out!! LoL. how are you getting on with the trans alp/ deckare on off road bike?
Hi there. thanks for the great video. i would like to ask you when do you have to sync the carb ?
I have a Honda Hornet 600 (2003) with 34.000km done. I have never done the carb sync. the manual does not give any information after how many km you have to done it. Could you provide me some directions please. I would also like to know if the difference before and then in quite noticable or not and what are the main benefits of doing it.
if you watch the short vid to the end- it gives the benefits. When you have become as one with the bike- you will hear her cry and like a loving father you must tend to her- ...or after approx 15k miles!!!
Thanks for the great video mr! just ordered myself a carbtune...... i have the yzf600r, i believe its the same engine and fuel system as the fazer so this video will help loads :)
And by the way higmeister67, you can use the carbtune on fuel injected engines too........
Throttle Position Sensor- Not all bikes have them and it is NOT essential to do this when using the CARBTUNE- I just followed someone elses instructions (pointer2null) and jesus smiled down upon my bike, blessing it saying "you shall ride more smoothly"- hope this helps
"is this safe?"- If you are riding the bike at the time you remove the airbox, I would probably guess not....The best advice I can give is burn the bike in a "ritualistic style"-inviting your neighbours to urinate over the charred remains- (don't forget to post the video)
Patrick. I ride all year round, but I've never had the pleasure of riding the Netherlands in winter. Love the video. Shame I've got fuel injection. However if I decide to got back to the good old carbs......Shiralee 007 I will follow your advice. I like your work, please keep it up matron.
Patience my Dutch friend- all good things come to those who wait!...might even be making a Christmas Ride- you can then be with me virtually - as I do ride all year. ( Seasons are for wimps!)
Funky shit mate! Will it work on my CB750 old-timer is the question. But the way this looks like it should work on any bike. Old or new...
Nice to see your Fazer again, please make something like you did before that started me to subscribe to your channel (the road trip with mounted camera on different angles, showing off the Fazer).
This was again a nice video, keep it up!
By the way, I wonder if you ride in wintertime like a real die-hard or...
