  • I'm making my sister a purse for graduation. the purse is made and i know she loves hearts! so i decided to put hearts on the purse. i love your heart but I dont like the symetrical two holes that look like eyes. how can i close those up without stitching them shut? LOVE YOUR WORK! you're amazing!

  • @shadowphantom43 You could try making a smaller chain but that may not close up the hole completely.

  • thank yuo for youer videos.i love youer videos .but how i put a heart shape pillow. pls reply me as soon as possibel.thanx again

  • just wondering do you have any tutorials on making an afghan and incorporating hearts in them

  • can this pattern make a baby blanket??

  • I'm making an angel doll. I completed the whole doll except the wings because I don't know how to make a large wings pattern. When I watched the video I come up with an idea to make a pair of wings with it. Thank you so much. This video tutorial is a great help. ^_^

  • Olá! Sou brasileira, e moro em Uberlandia Mg.

Gostaria muito de obter o gráfico destes seus lindos trabalhos. obrigada!

  • I have watched your crochet vidos on and off. Your a great instructor to teach crochet stitches and projects. I have been crocheting on and off for 7 months, along with knitting. I have been knitting for almost 2 years. I will continue to watch your videos and learn from them. Thanks.

  • Thank you, I appreciate your comment.

  • how i put together the hearts for make a blanket?

  • You can sew them together or you can put them on a granny square and connect them together as a square.

  • thank you.....:)

  • for some reason im having a hard time making the heart the left side turns out fine but the right side is like not as full as the left. I am left handed so i am watching you do it right handed i dont know if that is why or not. Do you think you could make a heart left handed.....if so i would greatly appricate it.

  • I have a different variation that I am doing soon for the lefty.

  • Thanks 4 the advice

  • Hi again I hope I'm not bothering u .I want to make a short jacket for my 18yearsold daughter how can I start??

  • I would suggest using google search to find a pattern that would be her size. Once you have a pattern with the basic shaping involved, you can modify the pattern, pattern stitch and details to what you want.

  • I love your videos, i've learned more from them than my books!

  • Thank you very much. :)

  • well, i've been trying too. I mixed ur small heart idea with the larger heart one. so i did it with :

ch 20, sc in each of the following... i made 20 rounds to complete the square. then i made 08 sl st then ch 05 , skip nect 02 st then 02 sl st.

i dtarted to make 15 double trpl crochet in the ch 05 space then as u did iin this heart i made another round but with tc instead of dc then repeat on the side to complete the heart.. it worked very well with me,, i'll try to post a picture of it.

  • You have got the idea for increasing patterns to fit your needs. Great job.

  • great work masha`allah. u know i started learning how to crochet with u while watching ur videos.. u make it very easy for me to learn (flower)

I already followed u & made the heart & it was amazing, but how can i make a larger one? maybe double of this heart's size???

Thank you for being my crochet teacher :) & surely for your great work.

  • You are welcome. I am working oh a heart that is larger. It may be a few more weeks before I have the pattern and tutorial complete.

  • hi!i just want to ask if i want to make biger heart how many do i need to make chain?i love ur job its really cute.tnx

  • Thank you. You can do this technique for any size but you will need to revise the rounded parts of the heart. You are redoing the whole pattern. If you chain much larger, then the rounded instructions I have written will not work anymore.

  • Another good one Theresa!! I will definitely be using this one.

  • Thank you. If you look at the video response, I turned it into a purse. --Teresa

  • this is so pretty is there a place where i can download the pattern?you do great work.

  • I will have to see if I can find it. Maybe it slipped my mind to put it on my blog because I see I have the instructions in the video.

  • There are written instructions on my crochet blog now.

  • thank you so much,I wanted to take the pattern to my mom,she is 80 and loves to crochet,I was telling her how beathiful your work is,thank you so much i will print it and take it to her.

  • You are welcome. I hope your mom likes it. --Teresa

  • Very nice work..I keep trying this patter and it doesn't turn out correct.. As I get to the next rows the square begins to get smaller. And how come when I chain 17, yours looks much longer then mine.. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

    Anyways.. nice heart.

  • Thank you. It could be possible that you may be using a smaller hook and yarn. It sounds like you are either skipping stitches as your progress or crocheting tighter for the square to get smaller. Mine might look larger just because I have it close to the camera.

  • ive done this 2 times and both time when i do the second part for the heart where i connect it leaves space's and it makes it not look right. am i doing something wrong?

  • Without seeing your work, it is really difficult for me to tell what you might be doing wrong. If you have an image of your work, contact me privately and you can e-mail me a picture. Maybe I can tell you more after that.

  • i believe i posted a video but i dont really know how to work youtube but it told me it would be in my video abd i show you the hearts ive made thank you

  • Do you Double Crochet in each chain when your rounding it which is 12 times?

  • I just double crochet in the loop.

  • CUTE!

  • Pretty! Cute! Wonderful! Fantastic! Awesome! Beautiful! .................

  • thank you!

  • What were the measurements of your finished heart? i guess from like the bottom point to the top valley. thanx =]

  • About 4.3/4". The square was 3.5" x 3.5".
