Loved your performance of this great Hymn, Lance. I've known it since childhood and it's a wonderful Hymn. Back in 1989, a Group of us from Aberdeen went on Pilgrimage to the Holy Land. It's something I'll never forget, Lance. When we came to the Dome of the Ascension, another group were singing "Crown Him with Many Crowns." It was so appropriate for the location. Several of us couldn't help but stop and join in. Treasured, blessed memories. God bless. Charlie.
Just heard this hymn a few weeks ago on the Feast of Christ the King used as the recessional. The organist didi a beautiful job and really pulled out all the stops. I only wish they'd play it more than once a year. Well I guess now I can.
"His glories now we sing, Who died and rose on high! Who died eternal life to bring and lives that death may die" Thank you for that beautiful hymn of praise!

Ah yes! A great old tune and one played mostly after Easter at our church. It really comes to life when sung by a full choir.
