Environmental performance and reporting and Business Strategies are complicated. Subsidies and bail outs are complicated. Saying the customer(s) is (are) responsible for businesses lacks is complcated.

Quick comment re: the dollar factor being easy to measure. This is the single most important statement accepted as truth which in fact is a fabrication which hides the truth so effectively that sustainability analists are stymied as to solutions for sustainability. Sustainability is simple.
