the majors = distribution and marketing power basically thats why you care about them. Keep in mind not every country or everyone has easy access to the internet so cd distribution is still of somewhat importance.

This videos are good and the positive comments are fantastic as well. Youtube is a bit of a cesspool for of cynicism so its good intelligent and non boring educational videos like these are being contributed and respected.

I emphasize the non boring bit because I watched a 9 minute video from the Harvard talking about bringing out your "inner CEO" thing bored me to tears and I had to turn off lol.

Here, here! :D I'm glad you expressed your thoughts on this. I am a huge fan of indie musicians (ones with real talent, that is). I love that it's not mainstream. You're right. There are people out there who love the music put out by the unknowns and now is the time to take advantage of it! Like someone else said, it's nice to have affirmation. :)
