I know quite a bit about his past and what he used to do. I'll put it this way, there are qualities about him that I like and respect, so I got the book to see what it was like. I've done the same to Warren Buffet, Jackie Chan, Richard Branson and some other people. It was Russell Simmons that led me to finding out about Transcendental Meditation as well (I visited the school in Fairfield, IA). Perhaps an appropriate quote would be "Don't judge a book by it's cover"?

Nor can you surmise anything about me from one of my PERFORMANCE ARTS pieces. I might know everything you know and more, I might know nothing. I'm trying to focus on the positive elements of Russell Simmons. A friend of mine loaned me the book "never drank the kool-aid" a collection of essays by Toure about the behind-the-scenes stuff in Hip Hop (you might like it). In Russell's book he mentions "Autobiography of a Yogi" (and other books) if one person is led to that book from his book. Nice.

Yeah Miltownkid I agree with LittleWildman. I'm on my 3rd 360 in a little over a year due to red rings and that is why I am now buying multiplatform games for the PS3 because it is rock solid. Everytime I turn my 360 on it sounds like something is going to fly out of it and kill me.
