  • Noahs arc is such a dumbass story

  • LEST ANYONE FORGET, while this vile, hypocritical creep was spewing this shit he was also SUPPORTING THE INVASION OF IRAQ which led to HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DEATHS. And yet he can talk about morality! How rich.

  • I love his voice so much

  • As an atheist, I often feel like the little boy in the fable of "the emperors new clothes"

Pointing and saying "but obviously its not true.

Why can't the so called adults see what I see...

Until some scoundrel takes yr money...

  • Christopher Hitchens as the aptly named "Sinner Who Did Not Appear."

  • I shall now prove morality exists without religion in one post. Even in religious people. Are you sitting comfortably Xtians? I better hurry, dont want to use up all my words, this will be hard right?. Xtians will generally agree Genocide, women as inferiors, human sacrifice, are wrong. These parts are ignored and they stick to the "Nice parts". How are you doing that? how are you making that choice? How do you know the nice and not nice parts to follow? Where are you getting your morality?.Done

  • The fact that believers believe it may not all be so literal seems a good thing to me. Although it negates any attempts to blame violence on them based on what's written in the good book. They clearly don't follow the book in all matters, so we can't simply point to the book and say, "See, this is what they believe!" Well, unless it's particularly convenient to the argument at the time.

  • Basic knowledge of history, and pre-history doesn't hurt either. It's fascinating how much we know about people tens of thousands of years ago from their rubbish alone. Archeology is basically going through the rubbish of long dead people, not Indiana Jones mystical crap. If you want that, be a dumb journalist, not a scientist. I know more about the history of history, or writing things down, than most can remember. Writing was necessary for bureaucracy, so it was developed.

  • Sorry if my comment sounded mystical, or mysterious, or zen, or whatever. All I meant is that you need to know a lot about reality, to really appreciate it. I couldn't be an atheist without also being educated, i.e. having basic knowledge of the natural sciences. I may have a soft spot for astronomy, but that requires maths, physics, relativity, and quantum theory. Biology requires that too, physics, chemistry and biochemistry. It all comes together into knowledge of reality.

  • I just thought the religions were a bunch of shit. Now I know it's a clever bunch of shit.

  • He said what is it like to lie to children for a living?..- i love this man he speaks the truth and the truth shall set you free. I am almost in tears. Wow!

  • @queencassie765 Truth sets you free, but it doesn't make you happy? Wouldn't you be happier believing in crap? The complicated reality is really not a very happy thing to know, you know. Do you really want to know what is real, and not just fantasy of religions? It's a long road, and hard, educating yourself about everything you need to know. You can reject religion, which is good, but you need to know why it is wrong, and evil, to really appreciate the world around you.

  • It made me happy so happy to the point I had tears and I believe what he said, “What is it like to lie to children for a living?” Is the truth and I wished that It could set the rest free. But that’s not reality for most they don’t see it or hear it. Maybe I was happier believing that crap about religion and government. But it does no good when you know and see the world for what it is.....Cont..

  • @pryletoncyo I have been on this lonely journey for a long time now. So I try reasoning from first principal- I also use philosophy, virtue(s) and ethics. I believe this truth can really help me live a more better powerful effective life and that goes for everyone else.

  • Hitchens gets forgiveness so wrong-it does NOT mean that you are not responsible for what you did, nor does it entail God saying "You didn't do it". That's not forgiveness of sins, in a Biblical sense, entails. As for Genesis and the creation story-it should go without saying that the Hebrew word for "Day" can be longer then a 24 hour period. The points of the story are that we were created by God, giving meaning and dignity to our lives, and that we have all rebelled against Him.

  • @dave4shmups I still can't believe you people still think this shit is true. You people are crazy and deluded.

  • @dave4shmups Since, according to Genesis, we were created as slaves, I don't see the meaning and dignity you mention. The Jewish creation myth is similar to other creation myths around the world but differs in that the Jewish tradition entails a 'fall' of man, whereas the other myths tell of man being freed from being bound by a god or nature.

Religious people make the mistake of taking as literal the word and missing the metaphor.

  • Hitchens was the man. RIP

  • When I first heard this I could hardly believe that a Human Being could speak so eloquently.I was a firm Atheist before I heard this, but this speech made me aware just how disgusting religion is.Religion, even in its most mild and metaphorical form,is indeed an insult to integrity and intelligence.Hitchens is inimitable.

  • We are poorer for his death

  • Well only Chris knows now if he was right or way off base! Rip

  • Comment removed

  • You will be missed, Hitch. <3

  • Rest in peace mate.

  • Rip

  • Hitch = Legend.

  • It's immoral to turn Jesus into an idol of worship or to believe he was a sacrificial victim, and that God requires torture and blood.

These beliefs insult reason. But so does the belief that matter is creative, and that it created consciousness.

Are high paid Professional Materialists like Hitchens and Dawkins only in it for the money, or are they really passionate that people reject intelligence for the faith that life was never intended, and that matter can and did create consciousness?

  • Tigersforchrist is a brain dead tool.

  • This guy is a genius. Hands down, best logic I have ever heard. Why doesn't he just bring science into it and disprove Christianity and all religions. After Hubble's Law proved The Big Bang, I still don't get how people think a god made our world. What will people say when Darwin's Theory is a law? It pretty much has if you look at it, it's only logical to believe in evolution, we see it every day in microorganisms...but damn people are so gullible to feel-good stories its ridiculous.

  • @DUBraveSTEP Where did the big bang come from? From.. nothing?

  • @Owner951

    Yes exactly

  • @DUBraveSTEP he couldn't bring science into it because science is not on his side. Look into the things that are happening in quantum particle theory (the god particle), look into mathematical certainty of the unknown (kurt godel). If you use true logic, and the information that is available at the forefront of science and math, the existence of the "unmoved mover" becomes much more than just a guy with a bushy white beard floating on a cloud.

  • @DUBraveSTEP ..If science were discredited by what was believed about it three or even two thousand years ago, not a single field of human knowledge would now accepted as valid! The very ideas of purpose and intelligence come from consciousness. There has been no science of consciousness yet as it can only be investigated internally: spirituality will survive as long as man is interested in that internal expansion. It can't be judged by those with no belief or interest in the soul.

  • @DUBraveSTEP I agree with everything you say, but christians will twist it by saying "but what started the big bang?"

  • @JordForster What started God? See, I can be like them too.

  • @DUBraveSTEP did you know a Roman Catholic priest was the first to derive Hubble's Law and propose the Big Bang theory? And that atheists of the day tried their asses off to refute it, because they realized it implied a Creator? And it still does. Gosh you atheists will believe anything as long as God isn't part of the story.

  • @emdtb2001 Atheists have nothing against this "God" character. You know why? Because he doesn't exist. It's you morons we hate.

  • @emdtb2001 And second, why does it imply a creator? And even if it did, which it clearly doesn't, who says it was your creator? Many think it was Allah, or Krishna... fucking retards, arguing over who believes in the better fairy tale, please, just commit suicide.

  • @DUBraveSTEP The burden of proof is on the theist not atheist.

  • @standingontruth1

Quit quoting Kirk Cameron and the banana man. Learn to think for yourself.

Study Christianity, and see how much was copied from older, more ancient religions from Jesus to his works, to the flood, to creation. The Bible is a copy of a copy of a copy of much older stories.

  • William Craig Lane is a proponent of divine command theory and a defender of genocide and mass murder. He is a sick, immoral bastard without any authority.

His debate strategy is also simple. Defeat in detail. He throws out so many points in such a short time that an opponent can't adequately refute them all. But he really only has a few arguments. When someone comes prepared, he can be beaten. But that's really not an open debate. Just stooping to his rhetorical trickery

  • Proof of Reptile People see on youtube =REPTILIAN HYBRID FBI AGENTS EXPOSED.

  • Yeah he's really smart until you watch him have his ass spanked by a real philosopher (hint: William Craig Lane)

  • @corioa William Craig, a loquacious snake-oil vendor. Master in theology( the art of word-smithing)

  • @corioa Was that the debate where Hitchens got a full grown man(Craig) to admit that thousands of years ago,a Jewish preacher(Jesus) drove demons out of people by putting them into pigs and drowning the pigs(lol).Hitchens got Craig to admit that people got out of their tombs and wandered around Jerusalem(lol)Jesus made the demons inhabit the bodies of pigs(lol) and drowned the pigs(lol) and Craig believed this really happened.(lol)What kind of philosopher believes that?-a Christian one(lol)pigs!

  • Why are christians so sure they are right? Wouldn't it be funny if they were wrong? As an atheist, I don't think anything happens after death. I also don't understand these christians who chortle gleefully at the thought of all these people condemned to burn in hell forever, while sitting back, secure in the thought of their own smug righteousness. What a sickening, small, mean attitude.

  • @8698gil ... "As an atheist, I don't think anything happens after death."

This is because your life is one of DARKNESS. You don't know the PURPOSE for which you were CREATED. You believe in the MYTHS of the Big Bang, abiogenesis and evolution. You BELIEVE homosexuality and abortion are acceptable and yet you REJECT the only TRUTH ...JESUS CHRIST because you are consumed by your own SIN.

  • @bornagain001 If you're being serious, keep going. I'm LOLing all over the place!

  • @KuatoFilms ...OF COURSE YOU ARE. Do you not think those who were.... to SOON PERISH... were not laughing at Noah and his sons as they constructed an ARK on dry ground? Just like them...YOU TOO are perishing and falling into an eternity which your mind can not comprehend.

  • @bornagain001 Keep going! This is hilarious!

  • @bornagain001 Yes, something is AUTOMATICALLY true because it's written in a book that says it was written by God! I seriously can't believe that you're a real person...

  • @bornagain001 The world is fucking changing. Get over it already. You're just going to destroy your sanity.

  • @8698gil respectfully sweetie, hell is an event not going to burn forever. the whole earth shall be destroyed by fire! game over that's it , everything and everyone is going to burnonce and for all. so many people confused for sure. No one actually knows what happens after u die? not one person. Have a good day any way . good for u to be athiest. as I don't belive in any religion either as it is all rules for themselves to feel better and take your money.

  • The problem will only worsen as our population crosses 7 billion, and the complete development of former 3rd world countries takes place to arise a new middle class.

  • It's actually a fact that world food demand is higher than ouput. We would have to drastically reduce our daily intake to feed everyone on the planet. Land suitable for agriculture/food production is limited.

  • @mahidude ...if you live in America...look around at the number of OBESE people. Yes...we are a society consumed by GLUTTONY. We can indeed afford to eat less so that others may have more. I don't know where you live but where I live there is plenty of unused land that could be used for food production.

  • agree video says it all !

  • @chuck "My name is chuck and i dont know wtf im talking about. god created man and "loves" us soo much, he burns us to eternity. How did we come to be, i ask?" if everything comes from somewhere as you suggest where does god come from? because obviously, everything came from somewhere as you say. if you answer that this omnipotent space god has always existed, it is safe to say that the universe perhaps has always existed. sorry i used fallacies but talking to illogcal minds is irrelavent

  • Only an ignorant fool would say that Christianity is "immoral"; google: the "Corporal and Spiritual works of mercy" that is part of Christian moral doctrine.

  • Comment removed

  • @WayOfTheMaster454 You obviously haven't read the Bible or listened to any of this video. So a man who gives back to society and is a respectable, helpful person is tortured for eternity simply for not being gullible enough to believe outlandish claims, while some criminal who has raped & killed just has to believe in some celestial god and he is rewarded forever in paradise?? This is what the Christian doctrine states and you think this is moral & just especially since the god is omnipotent?

  • @WayOfTheMaster454 And only a disgustingly evil person would threaten a child with eternal torment. Give it up, you Christians lost this argument the second you made us have it.

  • @randymullen511 ...eternal torment IS A CHOICE. There is ONE WAY to avoid it!

  • @bornagain001 Alright, go ahead and prove it. And for the sake of argument, let's say you're right. According to your worldview, it's perfectly acceptable to tell a child that they MUST love someone who they'll never see. They're also told that they MUST fear this being. And what happens should they fail to do so? Well, this child would be sent to be tortured for all eternity. Are you really able to look in the mirror while maintaining that CHILDREN deserve such punishment?

  • @bornagain001 God can go to hell can he?

  • @bornagain001

"...eternal torment IS A CHOICE. "

For crying out loud, just listen to yourself! How can anybody spew this kind of laughable nonsense?

  • @MomoTheBellyDancer ..YOUR ETERNITY will be a result of your life...whether good or bad. I do realize that for those who have become consumed by their own sin....this is a hard concept to grasp. You live a life of SELFISHNESS and DEPRAVITY and erroneously believe that when your heart stops beating...it all ends.

  • @bornagain001

"I do realize that for those who have become consumed by their own sin....this is a hard concept to grasp."

No, what makes it so hard to grasp is how totally inane this concept is, which isn't helped by the total lack of evidence for your claims.

"You live a life of SELFISHNESS"

So kissing your god's ass to let you into heaven isn't selfish?

  • @MomoTheBellyDancer ....It is indeed inane to the UNRIGHTEOUS...those who are perishing. My purpose here is NOT to prove anything to you but to awaken you from the stupor in which you currently exist. We both know EVIDENCE IS SUBJECTIVE. President Obama has produced the EVIDENCE of his birth in an American hospital and yet there are those who reject that evidence. YOU ARE NO DIFFERENT. The evidence is all around you but you reject it.

  • @bornagain001

    "those who are perishing"

You really seem to love the thought of seeing all those nonbelievers burn in hell, don't you?

    "EVIDENCE IS SUBJECTIVE."

No, the only valid evidence is objective evidence.

"there are those who reject that evidence."

Yes, there are idiots who do that. So what? Obama's US citizenship can still objectively be verified.

"The evidence is all around you "

Really? Tell me what it looks like then.

  • @WayOfTheMaster454

"Only an ignorant fool would say that Christianity is immoral"

Actually, all it takes is reading the Bible.

  • @chuck1967 - 7/16ths of an inch. That is the distance your little finger has to move from the A key over to the left to turn off CAPS LOCK.

  • @43alley I AM A CAPITALIST AND MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE PROVES IT. I AM ALSO A NON-CONFORMIST. I AM ALSO HARD OF SEEING LOL! SO THIS MAKES IT EASIER TO SEE WHAT I'M TYPING. IF YOUTUBE MADE CONTROLS SO I COULD MAKE BOLD PRINT LIKE A NORMAL BLOG OR MESSAGE BOARD WOULD HAVE THEN I WOULDN'T NEED TO USE ALL CAPS TO READ WHAT I'M TYPING. I HAVE TO BE LIKE LESS THAN 4 INCHES FROM THE SCREEN TO READ MY COMMENTS AS IT IS. LOL! YES MY SIGHT IS THAT BAD AND GLASSES DO HELP, BUT NOT SO MUCH WITH FINE PRINT.

  • @chuck1967 sorry, I let my God take my glasses awy! amen. u must pray for the miracle, as it is true. what u believe from a dr. then u will be ill indeed. pharmacies and others making money from u? open thy eyes and see! taste and see, that I am! believe to receive, u must. all healing is possible, if u believe whole heart, with-out falter. amen.

  • @ederoose OH BELIEVE ME I HAVE AND THAT SEEMS TO BE WHERE THE PROBLEM IS AND WHY I CAN'T EXPLAIN THE THINGS I HAVE SEEN AND THE FACT THAT RELIGION IN AND OF ITSELF CREATES NARCISSISTIC AND PSYCHOTIC PEOPLE AND WHAT'S UP WITH ALL THE NAKED MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN PAINTED ALL OVER THE WALLS AND IN FRAMED PAINTINGS IF RELIGION'S SUPPOSE TO BE SO CONSERVATIVE AND MORALLY CORRECT? SO I DON'T THINK PEOPLE ACTUALLY TAKE THE TIME TO LOOK AROUND THEMSELVES AT ALL OR PUT ANY THOUGHT INTO WHY IT'S THERE.

  • @chuck1967 So, if one cannot explain something, therefore it must be God who did it?

  • @chuck1967 yes, keeping an open mind. therefore, if you don't beleive that some consciouse being orgonised your entire fate, and the fate of the world, but gave everyone free will and punishes them rewards us accordingly, then you must be ignorant.

  • @chuck1967 Errmm life is a chemical reaction which is controlled by electrons through the brain and nerves and if i were you do a bit of homework

  • @chuck1967 Go to school Chuck, take a science coarse, preferably physics. God is the stupidest idea ever, and has caused humans as a whole to mass murder each other and work backwards. We could be so much more advanced and find real answers to the questions that religion gives us bullshit answers too.

  • @chuck1967 I don't know how it is so easy for people such as yourself to believe things without having any evidence to do so. We can easily explain how we're alive and breathing. Your statements are nothing more than logical fallacies. Please just go read a science book, educate yourself because you obviously have very little knowledge or understanding of anything at all.

  • This world is the only one that really matters, the cosmos isn't actually as old and vast as it appears but a kind of painted backdrop at the edge of our reality, and at the end of life everyone either wins or they lose-- at which time their good deeds are redeemed as heavenly treasures or their sins made manifest in the temperature of their tormenting flames. ....please. Christianity is as cheap as you can make life without turning it into a video game. It's an organism whose survival is belief

  • @chuck1967 I don't know why people regurgitate the same beliefs that have existed since the infancy of our species. You ask me: Why are we here then? Would it be wise for me to answer that I believe an alien species transported us from one planet and left us stranded on this one?

Well you can't tell me why were here so that must be the answer right? Just because you can't answer a question doesn't mean it's wise to make guesses.

  • @chuck1967 I would much rather have an educated person be wrong a million times and eventually find the answer than have a person make a guess and attempt to convince people it's true.

  • @chuck1967 You're right. We should all live our lives according to a 3,000 year old book because we can't prove it's not true. I'm sure said book is also correct about why and how we got here.

  • @chuck1967 Religion is where non-thinking is rewarded. God even punishes people for trying to find knowledge.

  • @Hirnlego999 ...REALLY? I was not aware of that. You must KNOW GOD pretty well.

  • @bornagain001 Take an apple to acquire knowledge? PUNISHED!

Try to build a tower of babel to see how God has it up there. PUNISHED! Do you read the bible?

  • @Hirnlego999 ...Genesis 3:5 tells us CLEARLY that eating the forbidden fruit was an ACT TO BE AS GODS. They simply wanted to be a God. Knowledge was secondary to their rebellion against HIS AUTHORITY. The same holds true in your own life. In your own rebellion You embrace what fallible scientists tell you and reject what God has told us.

  • @bornagain001

"eating the forbidden fruit was an ACT TO BE AS GODS."

So what? You'd expect a god to like to converse with its creation on its own level. Actually, why did it even bother with making human beings? Why didn't it create some other gods and have a ball?

    "rebellion against HIS AUTHORITY"

Why would such an omnipotent being care about authority? And why would it feel threatened by rebellion? That whole story doesn't make any sense.

  • @bornagain001 They were clueless. Screw telling people, just don't place the tree there in the first place. If God is such a clueless being that he doesn't understand that it will eventually happen then he has only himself to blame. And one would think that an all powerful god would sense that something was up. And even when it happens there is still no need to punish his own creation as the fault lies with himself. He could begin everything anew too. He should send himself to hell.

  • @bornagain001 God hasn't told anything. An old book which cannot agree with itself makes truth claims. But that's all it is, one old book. There are many different old books too.

  • @Hirnlego999 ...there are indeed many old books. There are howver NO OLD BOOKS that bring about miraculous changes in people's lives. From MURDERERS to HOMOSEXULAS. From thieves to prostitutes...GOD'S INFALLIBLE WORD has miraculously transformed 1000'S of lives.

  • @bornagain001 Yes, millions of people believing god was on their sides find themselves in early graves.

Truly transforming. And these miraculous events events often come from one religious person to another. A great miracle to read how a young child dies of cancer, how millions starve t death each year. Praise the lord.

  • @Hirnlego999 ....God does not guarantee us a life free of trials and tribulations. It is in fact ...those troubles that bring an opportunity to TRUST GOD in all things. As far as millions starving to death...it is a fact there is enough food in the world to feed everyone. It is also a fact that SINFUL MAN holds that same food hostage at the docks or borders or steals it for themselves. Do you remember..."BLACK HAWK DOWN". We were there to feed starving people.

  • @bornagain001

A good shepherd doesn't btw create design errors in the first place. Trillions are spent each year to battle diseases, and tons of effort is put into feeding people, but it isn't enough. We're treated worse than labrats.

Trust god? Millions if not billions have prayed all for nothing. God either doesn't care or he doesn't exist. Or actually, perhaps he approves, since these are "tests". Sinful man? WHO THE FUCK MADE IT SO? Again, the manufacturer.

  • A good shepherd doesn't btw create design errors in the first place.

@Hirnlego999 ...of course HE DOES. If God made us all perfect...none of us would ever need Him. As it is...EVERY PROBLEM...whether physical, mental or spiritual...is an opportunity to TRUST GOD.

  • @bornagain001 We were his crown of creation, made in his image. He knows pain is wrong, as he does heal a few through jesus (supposedly), so he knows the pain is really bad. Yet he does nothing to get rid of it. So according to you he made us non-perfect so we need him? Imagine if hospitals wounded just so that they could get patients. Deeply immoral. Religion again doesn't help on iota.

  • @Hirnlego999 ...There is NOTHING wrong with pain. NO PAIN, NO GAIN.

Hospitals are not capable of CREATING life. God is.

  • @bornagain001 So why did Jesus bother healing the sick if there is nothing wrong with pain? Would you tell a 5 year old suffering from cancer that there is nothing wrong with pain? Or a HIV patient? Ask them what gains they'd make. Fucking stupid slogan.

  • @Hirnlego999 ...Jesus MIRACULOUSLY healed the sick because it was the ultimate proof of who He claimed to be. It had NOTHING to do with removing one's pain. Are you a 5 year old? I tell YOU this because you are not 5. Explain to me how people get HIV and I will explain about the pain.

  • @bornagain001 So it had nothing to do with removing pain, but instead he cured people because he wanted to prove to others who he was? Oh boy, this is more sinister than I thought always different arguments from the religious. For the faithful the good old argument of evil is a very tough one one that they still haven't solved. See these two videos to (hopefully) understand: "Yahweh's Delicious Creation " "What would jesus NOT do"

  • @Hirnlego999 ...if your father had died and I told you I was the son...would you believe me if I raised your father from the dead? Would you believe I was the Son of God if you were born blind and I restored your sight? It's not a hard concept to grasp. There IS NO PROBLEM associated with the argument of evil.

  • @bornagain001 Useless questions because none of those things happen. Amputees don't grow back limbs. Of course there is, he created everything, not just the good stuff you know? You're all so selective. God get's all the credit but none of the blame. The flooding of the earth = genocide. Diseases = mass murder. Earthquakes = mass murder. Watch "god the psycho" on youtube.

  • @Hirnlego999 ...I was not aware that a missing limb was LIFE THREATENING like cancer or MS. There are MILLIONS of people who function quite nicely with one arm or one leg. Of course there are people with HALF A BRAIN that could use some help. The Great Flood was JUDGMENT NOT GENOCIDE. You don't seem to grasp the consequences of SIN. Your life too will be ended BY GOD and you too will face Judgment.

  • @bornagain001 Sigh, if you don't receive care quickly then it can. But nonetheless prayer doesn't bring that back either, he doesn't bother healing anyone and it certainly can lead to reduced quality of life. Such a poor fella to make humans so friggin fragily that we have to spend trillions each year to keep ourselves healthy, which of course is doomed to fail. Sin? I don't accept responsiblity for what his OWN creations did, again the fault is with himself, he's incompetent and not great.

  • @bornagain001 Yes, and Zeus will punish you for believing the wrong deity.

But why am I pretending even for a second that there is any credibility to religious ideas when there aren't any. Such a waste of time, and i won't spend my life on my knees to feed the ego of a cruel dictator which treats people worse than labrats. if such a thing is real then it doesn't deserve praise. in fact, had he been a politician and had all that power then he would indeed face trial for crimes against humanity.

  • @Hirnlego999 ..."Yes, and Zeus will punish you for believing the wrong deity." Don't count on it. I can understand your confusion about God. It is because you are consumed by your own sin and it is THAT SIN which seperates you from understanding God in any way. I should know...I was JUST LIKE YOU for the first 55 years of my life.

  • @bornagain001 There is no confusion. You believe in magic man without any evidence I'm honest to myself and don't fool myself with such nonsense.

No you weren't, you know nothing about me. I was a believer a few years, but since 9 I haven't believed in any deities. The priest knew nothing about what he talked about and religious people are not more moral. And there are tons of different religions. All of you have nothing, but faith. Sin makes no sense, at all.

  • @Hirnlego999 ...INORRECT. I do not believe in any "magic" man. #!. God is NOT a man nor #2 does He perform magic. Go can however remove the slavery of internet pornography, homosexuality, fornication, drugs, alcohol, anger, depression, anxiety, etc. It is NOT magic. I know more about you than you realize. Sin makes no sense to the UNRIGHTEOUS who are perishing. It makes a lot of sense to those who KNOW GOD and understand His JUDGMENT for those who are consumed in PRIDE such as yourself.

  • @bornagain001 None of those require religion. And why do we do those things? Why do we need drugs, did he design our coping mechanism too poorly? You know nothing about me. I don't take responsibility for some made up sins for things which I had nothing to do with. You're nothing like a love thy neighbor type. You offer salvation, when I refuse to believe the nonsense you threaten with is judgment which implicate hell. Again, know god when the bible doesn't even agree with itself? Pfftt. Hah hah

  • @Hirnlego999 ...."Why do we need drugs, did he design our coping mechanism too poorly?"

The coping mechanism was created perfectly. It was the SIN OF ADAM that brought an end to perfection and an end to paradise. You don't take responsibility for your own sin because your life is one of DENIAL. God will not care on Judgment Day that you denied your sin. You will still be accountable....just like all the murderers and rapists and thieves who live in denial of their sin.

  • @bornagain001 Try corporate greed leaching off of the middle class and making life so mentally taxing, demanding and unrewarding, that people commit suicide just to escape from it.

Also, I don't see how being tortured for eternity will be accounting in any way.

  • @Keitaro2011 ..."Also, I don't see how being tortured for eternity will be accounting in any way."

You may be correct. There are several verses in the Bible that indicates the souls of the unrighteous ARE DESTROYED IN HELL.

  • @bornagain001 Oh, so the bible contradicts itself, then...

That 's STILL not being accountable, though.

  • @Keitaro2011 ...not at all. What IS contradictory is your understanding it of it. Until the Holy Spirit brings discernment into your life...the Bible will ALWAYS appear confusing, contradictory and barbaric. You will read it but not understand it. It is ONE of the ways in which God uses to speak to the RIGHTEOUS. The UNRIGHTEOUS remain in darkness because that's what they desire.

  • @bornagain001 Discernment = bullshit. You just use the bible to justify yourself. With the bible, you can be God in your own mind.

  • @Keitaro2011 ...this is why we have so many misinterpretations of God's Word. It is powerful and it is perfect but until the Holy Spirit is involved ....it can not be understood. YOU are a perfect example. If you understand the Bible, you would know it is not possible to be God in our own minds. You would also know that many Christians struggle with understanding what God wants us to understand because of our own sin.

  • @bornagain001 Unfalsifiable non-sense.

  • @bornagain001 No, we cannot be God in our minds...for one thing, we exist, and he does not.

  • To make such a claim, one would have to be omniscient. It is because the atheist is neither omniscient nor omnipresent that he then takes an ILLOGICAL LEAP by concluding that there is no God, because it CAN NOT BE PROVEN that He doesn't exist. Such reasoning is absurd. Why would anyone try to claim that God doesn't exist when His existence is axiomatic?

  • @bornagain001 For fuck sakes... How many times does this have to be explained to you??? DX

  • @bornagain001 No, we cannot prove that god does not exist, but there is absolutely no evidence for the existence of a god, and there are mountains of evidence supporting evolution and the age of the earth. Its far more illogical to believe in something that is supported by absolutely nothing, than to believe the facts.

  • @bornagain001 No, it's not perfect. Millions upon millions need to use drugs to make their lives bearable.

Religion too is a drug, the fear of death. I have nothing to do with sin, neither did Adam and he certainly didn't create himself. Created sick and commanded to be well. According to the xtian immoral teaching you can get away with everything as long as you repent.

  • @Hirnlego999 ...have you ever stolen anything in your life? THAT'S A SIN. Have you ever lied about anything in your life? THAT'S A SIN. Have you ever used God's name in vain (as a curse word) THAT'S A SIN. Have you ever dishonored your parents? THAT'S A SIN. Sins for which you will SOON be held accountable....whether you believe it or not.

  • @bornagain001 Repeating things won't make them true. They're made up and you're a fool to fall for those lies. Don't worry, when you die the great flying spaghetti monster will have his way with you. He'll boil you in pasta sauce. Try to disprove that. See? Faith is useless.

Btw, aren't you a bit too friggin judgmental, what did your useless god say about that? The more religious the more fanatical things get. Big brother is not great.

  • @bornagain001 38.000 different denominations all from the same book. Looks like the believers cannot agree even amongst themselves, which isn't odd because neither does the book agree with itself.

    55 years? Afraid of death?

  • @Hirnlego999 ...I would be willing to bet there are at least 38,000 mom and pop HAMBURGER JOINTS in America. Does that make their hamburger any less of a hamburger because the sign does not say McDonalds or Wendy's? I myself go to a "NON DENOMINATIONAL" church. We are affiliated with no denomination. It's not that we don't agree with 38,000 other churches....we just like having our own church. Perhaps one day you will understand.

  • @bornagain001 I'm sorry, but the differences are vast, enough to make sure that people have been killing each other because their faith hasn't been straight according to dogma. According to the current pope there is no road up to the dictator without catholicism. Back a few hundred years and the religious would have been killing each other over such ridiculous claims. Luckily xtianity has been somewhat domesticated, few really truly care about it. I understand it for the fiction it is.

  • @Hirnlego999 ...if people have been killing each other over differences....that ELIMINATES them from having any kind of relationship with Jesus Christ. One can CLAIM to love their wifeor husband but if they are involved in sexual immorality...that makes their love out to be A LIE. He would be CORRECT IF....any Catholics have surrendered their sin filled lives to the authority of Christ. There are many protestants who are also NOT CHRISTIANS. You understand NOTHING.

  • @bornagain001 You cannot whitewash away responsibility from the creator of everything. His goal is to save everyone but most have not and will never even be christians. So again, this god is absolutely incompetent, cruel, vicious, callous as most will go straight to hell. What a good loving shepherd.

Ah, good old they're not real Christians argument. LOL

  • @Hirnlego999 ...since when does God become the CREATOR OF YOUR SIN? Was it God that forced you to watch that internet pornography and then masterbate? Was it God that forced you to steal? to lie and to covet? Was it God that forced you to stay home from church last Sunday OR WAS IT YOUR OWN SIN?

  • @bornagain001 According to the bible, as well as basic logic, yes, it was.

  • @bornagain001 The creator of everything created everything, including sin. He has all the original blueprints. But you folks don't get it. Big brother blames you and like the unquestioning sheep so many of you are accept blame for things which you had nothing to do with. Don't try to give me any that guilt, I'm not one of you.

"Poll: Christians 'addicted to pornography'" Oh boy, more for God to send to hell. And how often it is the believers who "sin" the most. Fuck him.

  • @Hirnlego999 ...SIN IS YOUR CREATION....NOT GOD'S. First you say you don't believe in sin....next you say God created sin.....which is it?

  • @bornagain001 I didn't even create myself. Next thing you tell me the faults of the earth are my doing. Sorry, your useless deity has the blueprints. The fault lies with the manufacturer.

  • @Hirnlego999 ...."Poll: Christians 'addicted to pornography'" I would not doubt that. Christians struggle with SIN just like you do. The difference is...they are aware of it's hold on the and the consequences that sin brings with it. You on the other hand EMBRACE your sin and simply deny it.

  • @bornagain001 Struggle? Looks like they love it. I agree with Bill Hicks. The bible says be fruitful and multiply, so there should be a centerfold in it. Two infact, add a man for the females too, or are they even worthy that? Without the "sinning" there are no people left for god to punish, and that wouldn't be fun for him wouldn't it?

  • GOD TAKES NO PLEASURE IN THE DEATH OF THE WICKED. He is not willing that any perish but that all come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9. This is why God has given a “mandate” to all Christians to go into all the world and spread the Gospel. It isn’t God’s will that any should perish. God doesn’t send anyone to Hell the same way a righteous Judge doesn’t delight in sending anyone to prison or sentence them to DEATH. The criminal’s crime sends him to prison. The Judge merely executes JUSTICE.

  • @bornagain001 LOL, of course he does, as he does nothing to prevent those things from happening.

2000 years has passed not even half of the world is christian. Miraculously incompetent. And faith in Europe is dying, luckily. To even invent hell is indescribably cruel. I think he should go there, he needs a little warmth for his cold, cold, cold soul.

  • @Hirnlego999... "2000 years has passed not even half of the world is christian."

GOD DOES NOT CARE ABOUT QUANTITY...JUST QUALITY.

"Miraculously incompetent. And faith in Europe is dying, luckily."

And because EUROPE has tuned their backs on God...they have opened the door to the greatest FALSE RELIGION and everything it brings with it. It's just a matter of time before SHARIAH LAW will be impose in Britian and with it...CHAOS.

  • @bornagain001 Oh, so, because ONE violent superstition has a chance of taking over, that means another violent superstition is true?

Also, stop contradicting yourself. According to you, there's no such thing as quality.

  • @Keitaro2011 ...it seems to me that it was THE CHRISTIANS that were thrown to the lions and THE CHRISTIANS that were used as torches. Even today...COPTIC CHRISTIANS and being targeted and killed in Iraq. And what happens to anyone who declares his FAITH IN CHRIST in Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan. Satan will use all the FALSE RELIGIONS of the world to kill those who profess faith in Christ.

  • @bornagain001 So what? That says NOTHING about whether it's actually true or not. Muslims were killed for their religion, too... BY CHRISTIANS. ATHEISTS were killed by Christians. HOMOSEXUALS were killed by Christians. And don't go giving me that "They weren't real Christians" crap.

  • @Keitaro2011 ..TRUE CHRISTIANS DO NOT KILL. I don't know how to make you understand that. We are NOT like the rest of the world. It's ALL about transformation. If you CLAIM to be a Christian and embrace homosexuality, fornication, adultery, internet pornography....you ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN.

  • @bornagain001 Oh, Killing is the one sin you don't "struggle" with? Bullshit.

If it's all about transformation, then you shouldn't be struggling with ANY sin. Your own bible says so.

  • @Keitaro2011 ....we are ALL born with a SIN NATURE. That means we will always struggle with sin but through Jesus Christ...HE ALONE can remove that desire to sin from us. Does that mean we will never be angry or depressed or hurt or doubtful (all sins). Of course not. Christ can however remove our addiction to pornography, homosexuality, fornication, lying, stealing, etc.

  • @bornagain001 Oh, now DOUBTING is a sin. I'm glad i wasn't a real Christian, because I would hate to live in the mental prison that you're trapped in.

  • @Keitaro2011 ....Lest you forget. I WAS in my own mental prison for 55 years before I was SET FREE. Now...your mental prison has become global warming or what the Republicans will do to this country or loosing your job or alcohol or perscription medication or selfishness or anger or malice and the list goes on and on of things that control the lives on the UNRIGHTEOUS.

  • @bornagain001, Oh, so we should just lie to ourselves about reality and not do fuck-all to fix any problems.

  • @bornagain001 Why do you keep applying a human judge's limitations to God??? Why? Why? Why?!!!!

  • @bornagain001 ...you're a fag
