  • Hermoso pais

    saludos desde Medellin-Colombia

  • ay como extrano a mi uruguay ,

  • wow, twas a nice tour.. hope im touring there for real soon :)

  • 3:20 thats your voice??

  • muy bonito pais

  • Great footage quality. Very nice tour of Uruguay.

  • @matasimios1000 pobre pendejo ignorante

  • @matasimios1000 MEXICANO MARICON DE MIERDA RESENTIDO MEXICO ES PEOR QUE TERSEMUNDISTA LO MUY MENOS SOS DE GUJACA IMBECIL URUGUAY ES UNO DE LOS PAISES MAS SEGUROS DE LATINO AMERICA Y MEXICO QUE??PARTIDA DE IMBECIL MONO.....

  • @matasimios1000 PUTO

  • manyana uruguay hollanda,suares y kuyt.

  • Only problem with this is that the tour guide sucked ass. I'm pretty sure I could do a better job than her.

  • Great Video. I was born In Uruguay, and have lots of family in Uruguay. I plan on moving back eventually and staying for good. I love Uruguay!

  • I only went on this because of Luis Suarez :L lol. What a legend!

  • @liverpoolfc998 Forlan and Cavani are superior.

  • @EnzoXIII Forlan maybe, but not Cavani. Plus Suarez is still fairly young and can still improve and become even better than Forlan.

  • @liverpoolfc998 Forlan definitely - he was the best player of the 2010 World Cup.

Also, Cavani is the same age as Suarez, and he's almost single-handedly kept Napoli in serious contention for the Scudetto.

  • @EnzoXIII Well look at Suarez when he was at Ajax, he almost carried them :P. And now he is proving that he can play just as good in the Premier League which most of the foriegn players can't deal with. Would like the see Cavani play in the Premier League sometime :).

  • MONTEVIDEO, BOG TE VIDEO

  • Wow, thanks for posting this! Do you know if there are there any English-speaking movie theaters around Montevideo?

  • @TreesOnTheBeach American movies are in English. THey do not translate them, the tranlation is written down.

  • @TreesOnTheBeach You're welcome

  • FANTASTICO MONTE!!!

  • Wow, Uruguay looks like Southern California.

  • thank you for showing in the stadium the beautiful flag of the biggest football team in Uruguay!! that guide needed some serious english pronunciation courses.

may be I don't know English ,but I can understand verry will and you gastonto

  • I'm looking for a country which doesn't have statues of Freemasons in its capital city, would Uruguay be this city?

  • going to uruguay in december to see my friends!

  • Id rather live there then in america, everything here in america is about being the best and most pwerful.

  • How far is Montevideo from Buenos Aires?

  • @latinlover1002002 The distance is not very far. About a 25 minute flight. If you're driving it will be longer because you have to drive around the Rio de La Plata, about 240km.

  • @hoosiertim Thanks so much. I am really thinking of spending a week in Buenos Aires and from there go to Montevideo. WOuld I be able to take a bus or a train from Buenos Aires to Montevideo? Thanks for your help

  • @latinlover1002002 you can't take a bus or a train because their is water between the two, you would have to take a plane, it's like a 20 min. flight

  • @codylabeouf0073 Thanks for the info.

  • @codylabeouf0073 Well, there are buses to Colonia, then you take the Ferry to Buenos Aires.

The flight takes about 45 minutes man!

  • @latinlover1002002 Of course, you can take a bus or plane, ferry (2 hours),. Uruguay a nice place to visit, and probably one of the safest places in the world!

  • @hoosiertim 240km?, na na na.. very bad comment!, i don't know how much km exaclty, but, Montevideo-BsAs trough line direct by boat, demand 3 hs aprox, other option can be, 150km by bus (2hs aprox.), and boat (1 or 6 hs, depends boat's ). If you prefer just bus, aprox. 10-12hs, depending route's.

Now, i think es clear.., 240km is very pour aproximation. XD

  • "Montevideo is the largest city, the capital and chief port of Uruguay. Montevideo is the only city in the country with a population over 1,000,000."

Just over 1000000? Actualy montevideo's population almost reach 1,900,000, and from many years ago is (technicaly) the same population.

Uruguay have a realy little demographic grow.

Sorry if you don't understand well my inglish.

    Have a good day.

  • @latinlover1002002 Si te tomás un barco de Buquebus llegás en 2 horas.

  • @PATRIENIX Gracias

  • @latinlover1002002 Buenos aires queda a 200 y algunos kilómetros de Montevideo. (Buenos Aires is about 120 miles from Montevideo)

  • Places to visit in Montevideo : Rambla de Pocitos, Mercado del Puerto, Centro, Estadio Centenario, Ciudad Vieja, Palacio Legislativo, Prado, Teatro Solis, Playa Pocitos, Carrasco !

  • thank you so much for the lovely video! next month i'll be in montevideo for the fourth time, and so i was looking for new places to visit ...xxx

  • The only problem of Uruguay is that it's full of...Uruguayans... shame, shame, shame.

  • @fiofodiveia QUE IMBESIL MI DIOSSS, NO SE DE QUE PAIS SERAS PERO LOS URUGAYOS SON LOS MEJORESS Y NO NECESITAMOS DE OTRA GENTE PARA QUE NOS CRITIQUEN

  • emilianoreales1: shut d fuck up!!!! ok??? i'm sick of your comments

  • SERIA GENIAL PUDIERAN PONER SUBTITULOS EN ESPAÑOL..........NO SOLO POR LA GENTE QUE NO SABE INGLES SINO PORQUE TRABAJO CON PERSONAS SORDAS......Y ME GUSTARIA COMPARTIR ESTE MATERIAL CON TODOS LOS SORDOS DEL MUNDO ........ALGUIEN PODRA HACERLO ???

MUCHAS GRACIAS, DESDE MONTEVIDEO URUGUAY, CON AMOR LADYPATO

  • Uruguay is unique :)

  • @uruguayocapo88 congrats!!

  • omg i wanna go to uruguay so badly so as soon as i can make my own decisions (still too young) i will for sure go to montevideo

  • @lovecv9 YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO VISIT ANY TIME :D

MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THIS PLACES: PUNTA DEL ESTE, COLONIA, ROCHA, MALDONADO, AWESOME PLACES,

  • @uruguayocapo88 well thanks for the tip and i might be visiting montevideo sooner than what i tought

  • @uruguayocapo88 okay, excuse me is that here we do not show Uruguay, so my ignorance. if you are Argentina, never in my life pranticamente hear people talk of as Uruguay. excuse my ignorance on the subject.

  • @Emilianoreales1 YOU'RE EXCUSE!!! BUT IM NOT ARGENTINAN, IM FROM URUGUAY, AND PROUD.... ME ENTENDISTE?

  • Comment removed

  • Uruguay is a small Argentina

  • @Emilianoreales1 WE SHARE SOME OF THE CULTURE. BUT ITS NOT IDENTICAL!!! WE HAVE SOME DIFFERENCES. IS LIKE ENGLAND AND USA. WOULD YOU SAY THAT USA IS THE LITTLE ENGLAND? I DOUBT IT, EVEN MORE KNOWING HOW PRIDE THE AMERICANS ARE, (NO OFFENSE) : D

  • @Emilianoreales1

Very bad pronunciation!

  • @Eltigredeuruguay MAS BIEN EN INGLES TEATRO SE PRONUNCIARIA: "TIETER" ESA ES LA PRONUNCIACION CORRECTA. TE LO DICE ALGUIEN QUE VINO A VIVIR A USA A LOS 12 AñOS Y YA LLEVO 10 ACA. JEJE :)

  • Uruguay is soooooo beautiful

  • @bbrenci THANK YOU. HOPE YOU CAN VISIT SOME TIME....

  • VERY BEAUTIFUL VIDEO, URUGUAY IS AMAZING, ITS CULTURE, HOSPITALITY, AND HISTORY WILL CAPTURE YOUR ATTENTION. SO AS YOU ALL KNOW, URUGUAY IS IN THE 2ND SECURE COUNTRY TO LIVE IN. CHILE IS IN FIRST PLACE, BUT YOU ARE GONNA LIKE URUGUAY BETTER, HEHEHE! : )

  • @uruguayocapo88 Is the 2nd most secure in the world or Latin America ?

  • @hola090 THE 2ND MOST SECURE IN LATIN AMERICA OFCOURSE. NO DRUG DEALER WARS. OR STUFF LIKE THAT, LIKE IN MEXICO.... I MEAN YOU GONNA SEE CRIMES, THATS FOR SURE, LIKE EVERY OTHER COUNTRY, BUN ITS MINIMUM IF YOU COMPARE TO OTHER COUNTRIES....

  • @uruguayocapo88 Im impressed ! I really want to visit Uruguay.

Im from Mexico and yes the situation here is devastating, I just cant belive this is happening in my country, but we gotta keep strong.

  • @hola090 MY WIFE IS ALSO FROM MEXICO, IM REALLY IN SHOCK OF WHAT MEXICO CONCERNS. I JUST CANT BELIEVE HOW CAN PEOPLE DO SUCH AS HORRIBLE THINGS FOR MONEY. ALL THE VIOLENCE IS REALLY FREAKING PEOPLE OUT!. IM REALLY SORRY, IS NOT FAIR FOR ANYONE TO LIVE LIKE THIS. I HOPE EVERYTHING WORKS OUT WELL FOR MEXICO, AND THAT ALL THIS FINISH ONCE FOR ALL. I WOULD LOVE TO VISIT MEXICO SUCH A WONDERFUL COUNTRY, SO BEAUTIFUL BUT SADLY IAM AFRAID OF THIS BAD PEOPLE IN MEXICO.VERY BIZZARE!

  • @hola090 May be they're the second in the world after Switzerland!

  • i'm so proud of my country. a little country, with few money, few people, but we made things that no other country did, neither the most important conutries. We are an example. Regards from Montevideo, Uruguay :)

sorry if you can't understand me, i don't speek english very well, haha.

  • Uruguay is so beautiful. Love the architecture.

  • Uruguay seems to be very sparse and less chaotic compared to other South American nations. Is it a rich country in comparison? What is the standard of living like there? Thanks

  • @sardarshamas fuck you dumb fuck only Colombia and Venezuela have problems

  • @FreeeeS why the profanity? I asked a simple question and you swore at me! Why?

  • @sardarshamas you insulted Latin American nations dumb fuck Central American failed states except Mexico maybe fucked up but not the South American continent dumb fuck you ignorant turd

  • @FreeeeS I think that even if I had intended to insult you I would never have succeeded as you clearly have. Obviously your mannerism and use of language is as neolithic as it gets hence referring to South America as chaotic. If 'dumb fuck' is as creative as you can get then I apologize to myself for even wasting the energy to communicate with you. Anyhow I have been to South America and I know most of the people are not 'turds' as you clearly are and they definitely are not as ignorant as you!

  • @sardarshamas Instead of feeling insulted like the douche you are why didnt you try to figure out why i was doing it instead of asking me which makes even more of a retard

  • @FreeeeS where did you learn to speak such fine English. Maybe you have been watching too many American movies and 'douche' along with 'dumb uck' is the only high level of grammar you posses. I hope everyone in Uruguay is not as mentally challenged as you because if the your the spokesman for the region then I pity that place. Anyhow I hear from sources in Montevideo that you have a face that only a mother could love! Is that why you hide away in ur room playing keyboard warrior. u homosexual

  • WE ARE ONE OF THE THREE MOST DEVELOPED COUNTRIES OF LATIN AMERICA,URUGUAY RANKS 50 IN THE HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INDEX AFTER CHILE AND ARGENTINE.WE HAVE OUR PROBLEMS AS ANY DEVELOPING COUNTRY(POVERTY EXIST) BUT THINGS JUST GET BETTER,6 YEARS FROM NOW THE COUNTRY WAS NOT WHAT IS NOW I THINK THINGS WILL CHANGE FOR GOOD.LIFE STANDARD IS THE HIGEST IN LATIN AMERICA,COMPARABLE WITH ORIENTAL EUROPE COUNTRIES LIKE SLOVAKIA OR LATVIA.WE ARE CIVILIZED AND PEACEFULL BTW FreeeeS IS AN ASSHOLE.SORRY THE BAD ENG.

  • @theBastardus thats excellent information and much appreciated! I think the problem is that apart from a handful of nations (G8 predominantly) which are obviously in control of the global economic system the tier after that around the 50 or so nations are all doing exactly the same. The nations below that are just surviving. Hence when I referred to South America I know a lot of the nations are just surviving just like Asian nations. I found Uruguay to be interesting as it seems to be doing well

  • @sardarshamas Another cool thing we do have is that you do not need to get a visa to live here so immigrants cannot be illegal, we welcome immigrants from all the world, all you have to do is go to our immigration center, sign some papers and then you are ready to go.

  • @sardarshamas The standard is fine, well it's not really that fine for me but anyways, a teacher can earn around $600 a month and there are other type of jobs which pay less.

Generally, jobs which are in the technology field pay way more like around $2000 a month but they never pay more than that.

We've got some problems like many other countries but one thing that we do not have are wars, we are also a small country with a few people on it, but we do have the safest bank system in south america

  • @colistro I think it looks amazing and I would love to visit the nation. I think the history and landscape is just so intriguing. As long as one can earn enough to live a good life than thats perfect. A life of dignity within a respectful society is a gift these days and if your nation has that then you guys are truly blessed.

  • downtown looks so quiet on a sunday it's actually more enjoyable not like the madness and crowds of weekdays

  • I wanna visit Uruguay :)

  • @Geistkampfer My parents are from there. im from Argentina. I never thought so many people liked Uruguay cus knowone knows about this counrty:')

  • did that lady mention that the first world cup was held in estadio centavaro? the first word cup ever!

  • @jedihero67 I am fom uruguay and you can search in the internet or read in a book that that is true, and that also we won that first world cup. The other thing I wanted to tell you is that the name of the stadium is not centavaro is centenario!

  • @LightJM8 yea i know about the world cups and there history its pretty cool about the 1930 and 50 world cups that uruguay won. congrats on those those were amazing wins. im jordanian half brazillian and 1950 haunts us but it was an amzing achievment to beat us in rio. and the cool thng is that u guys beat argentina in 30......., and a semi final in 2010 this year was amazing too. im like a soccer neerd even though thats not possible cause soccer is soo awesome. and.. lol ok centenario.

  • beautiful place!!! does anybody lives there who I could talk to?? xD

  • @FrodoElijah1 I lived in Montevideo but I'm living in Punta del Este now.

Do you wanna ask me something?

  • @Albertouy hmm first of all is the spanish you are talking in uruguay diferent from that in argentina and spain? I heard that the argentina spanish is diferent from the spain spanish :) and do you know the Stella Maris College? and do you know about the crash in the andes mountain? in 1972 the rugby team old christians... I know wierd questions but I´m curious :)

  • @FrodoElijah1 The spanish we speak in Uruguay is practically the same that is spoken in Argentina. When I mean Argentina I say Buenos Aires because there are a lot of places in Argentina that has diferrent accents. I was born in Argentina but I lived all my life here in Uruguay but I still have family in Arg.

And yes the spanish that speak en Spain is different from our spanish. Is like comparing the British accent to the accent of USA.

  • @FrodoElijah1 And I know the stella maris college only from the name but I don't know anything about it.

About the Andes I think any uruguayan knows about that accident. They made a movie called "Alive" or "Viven" in spanish.

And there are a lot of Books. The last one was "La sociedad de la nieve". And besides The father of one of the survivers is Carlos Paez Vilaro one of the most famous artist of Uruguay. And he is the owner of "Casapueblo" you can google it. Is an amaizing building.

  • @Albertouy yeah I know the movie, it was brilliant! and i have a book from piers paul read. :D hmm I don´t know what to ask ...xD that´s very intressting with the spanish language... thank you for answering my questions, if i have another, could i write you? xD

  • @FrodoElijah1 Yeah no problem you're welcome

  • Ahh.. Que lindo el Uruguay!

Naci ahi pero no visite hace 8 anios! ( perdon no tengo enie)

    Quiero ir ahi!! :(
