@IronPump89 The ending was a bit dark but I can't think of a more fitting ending to this movie. It'd be dumb and trite if someone made off happily with the loot. Everyone had to die, as they all pretty much deserved it.

@kondurperusix This is without a doubt my all time favorite movie, but I have to agree, I dont like JLO at all and she almost ruined the film. It's mostly her voice that puts me off. Wish they would have gottin' some other hot latina actress but it's still the greatest film of all time.

Truly one of the greatest films ever made. Certainly Stone's best. Lopez could have retired after this and still have made an indelible mark. Penn same deal. Nolte - a perfect bad guy. Great supporting roles by Joaquin Pheonix, Claire Danes, Bill Bob Thorton, Powers Boothe, and Jon Voight. Cameo by Liv Tyler. Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" in the soundtrack. I mean it is just an f'ing brilliant film, no question about it. On a deeper level, it highlights the plight of Native Americans today.

@Allocator2008 100% agree with everything except JLo. As great as this movie is (and it truly is one of the greatest IMO), it could have been even better by replacing JLo with some other less annoying latina actress. It's mostly her voice that just gets on my nerves and it's distracting. For a Jlo part she pulled it off pretty well but I think this was Stone's only mistake in this film. Funny enough, Bil Paxton was almost cast as Bobby Cooper. I think Penn was the better choice by far.

@MyWendal That's interesting about Bill Paxton, I do rate him as a actor, he has gotten better with age. When I was growing up I did wonder why everyone rated Sean Penn as the best actor of his generation. When I watched him in 'Casualties Of War' I thought his performance was dreadful but then I went back and watched it again when I was much older and it is a great performance from a wonderful actor. JLo is passable in this, she doesn't have to do much but get the male audience members excited!
