John Tardy and Luc sound completely different. I think Luc sounded more like Chuck during the old Scream Bloody Gore/Mantas era but with a deeper and more powerful delivery.

technical death metal back in the late 80s early 90s was technical for the musics sake. it was musical and thought provoking. its was intelligent and it fit together. it was innovative and unique, while maintaining brutality and simple listening. it was genius and it worked. nowadays technical death metal is technical for technicality's sake, it doesn't matter if the song is hard to listen to or doesn't really fit together, as long as it is as technical as possible...whatever gorguts is the shit
