  • At all who think there is to much bottom end in the sound. You are right! This is a how-to tutorial to show you the Axe-FX2.

I will take more care on the frequencies in the future. But I Focus more on making it understandable and useful information for newcomers to the AxeFx2.

If you are a pro and can make a better metal sound, you are VERY Welcome to share tipps and Video links here!

  • @berndkiltz I agree that you have made good structure of the sound for future EQ. Many people don't understand what structure should be to have clear sound in the end after EQ. I can post my sound with Axe FX Ultra watch?v=Wk3VM1OtYvg and I have to say, that without EQ it sounds something like subj.

  • 10:00 that was as chunky as chunky can be. Excellent =)

  • How many inputs can you use simultaneously in an AXE FX ?

  • Wow, this would take too much effort to learn. I'm sticking with my Pig Nose.

  • holy shit thats confusing

  • Thank you!

  • Uh....you're bottoming out like crazy. This sounds like SHIT!

  • @XSDarkMoonZX There may be too much bass in the sound. Guess what: You can adjust that parameter and put less bass in your sound...

  • @berndkiltz: Really? I didn't know that! Sounds like you should have figured that out before posting this video.

  • @berndkiltz No, he is right, there is too much low end on your patch. Needs less lows and slightly more mids.

    Listening through seinheiser studio headphones.

  • how do u record the guitar sound sir?

is it like this..guitar--> axe fx 2 --> recording software, or it comes from you camera's mic?

  • @naochiMalmsteen Of course I record the sound directly to the AxeFX2 over USB. I would not recomend doing it over the Camera Microphones, this sounds like crap most of the time (unfurtunaltely many Axe2 Videos on YT are done like this, which gives you a false impression of the sound. But some people don't know how to add the additional audio to the Video programm and it is a little more work!)

  • I'm new to the Axe-FX II and I have found your videos very helpful. Thanks!

  • @berndkiltz Oh great, he did stfu ;-) Would have been great to see a Video with a better sound though... ;)

  • The Tutorial is really good man. Good job!

  • This is a terrible representation of the Metal tones from the axe-fx.

  • @klarqesebekra Do it better, make a Video, post it here or it never happened.

  • @berndkiltz

He doesn't need to; after a few minutes, these guys (watch?v=Mu7JUgits84) took care of it for him.

  • Intro riff sounds sweet
