so Chattur'gha the god of matter has a revive the heals you, Ulyoth god of the planes (kinda) heals magicka, and Xel'lotath god of sanity and knowledge's will increase sanity. Mantarok is the god of death so does it resurrect you?

As soon as it starts to summon the zombies, cast a 5 or 7 point attack spell, and by the time it is finished, it will hit the zombies and then the Guardian. I can't remember if it is a 5 or 7 point, so try and see which works.

@moseslmpg and you have to be  farway so the guardian can start recovering magic (when it goes green)

in that time you have time to cast a 3 or 5 point spell 7 one only for pros ;)

Really funny thing about ammo in this boss:

Since you will lose everything at the end of the chapter because the protagonist it's gonna change, attack him/her with bullet is useful, because you will wast them in any case.

How are you managing to cast the spell and move. I have to stay still or the spell is broken before it's cast. Where is the key place to stand to cast it? I've managed to get passed the first wave but after that I just manage to kill the zombies before once in a while getting enough energy to cast the spell the next wave looks impossible.

You can move again after the last glyph of the spell has been cast, i.e. when the last pillar of light appears. You also have to keep in min that the guardian is only susceptible to the damage spell when he glows.

I finally managed to do it but boy was it frustrating, it helps to not use the magic restore potion until the last wave and alternating between attacking the Guardian and restoring your health/magic.

I ended up getting killed on the last wave three times before I figured that out.

I don't know if anyone else noticed but that spell she uses(the beam coming from the ground) uses aretak(creature) and antorbok(project) rune, which is a spell that cannot be used by any of the characters in the game.

Does shooting the Black Guardian do anything other then use up bullets?

It does make you feel insignificant and powerless, and elicit a response from the guardian as well.

I have infinite ammo and I was just doing to get them to talk for the video.

@dragonstormx The Black Guardian is the boss of Peter's scenario, so you literally have no where else to use it when you get this battle. Also, the guns in Eternal Darkness suck anyway compared to the melee weapons, unless you take the time to enchant them.

I've never tried it in the battle. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to do it, but there's no reason to do it.

Mantorok rune is in Edwin Lindsey's chapter. I forget what you actually have to do to get it though. It involves removing shields on a wall and then summoning a Trapper to go get it or something. Look at GameFAQs.

7 points is the highest spell you can do in game.

to get Mantorok on Edwin's when you are running thru the mazy thing there is a spot of rock wall with a small hole on it ... summon a trapper and run thru there to the mantorok rune and you get it

I think that voice is actually Xellotaph's voice with the spells. It does that for the game.

I was visiting my friend in Las Vegas last year, and I noticed he had this game. He was so busy that barely finished one (of three games), so I tried to put my gaming skills to the test. Sadly, I couldn't get myself to sit more than one hour on this game. So, one week before I left, I told my friend to beat it for me. He ended up beating all the bosses and got the ultimate ending. He's so badass lol

Can I ask why you were using your revolver against the Guardian? Does it just prompt her to attack you? I never tried that before.
