the only difference between the 84-85 and the 86-87 is the 86-87 has the radiator infront of the gas tank like a 250r and they have power reed valves in them

@86fordmandylan They both have reed valves in the intake. The '86-7s use a powervalve in the exhaust to provide more low and midrange power without giving up top end. They also have bigger forks, more suspension travel, and completely revised geometry.

@JBlinky67 they are rare were your at i see about 4 or 5 each year on craigslist or other websites. a 87 will pop up here and there. the catch is getting parts can be a bitch i can get one for really expensive or i can look for a used one for ever.
