As Conway Twitty commented in a documentry that George Jones was set on self-distruct. And yet , you know it's an odd thing destiny (losing Conway as well as Waylon - RIP)) how George having overcome those obvious demons as well as a car accident, survived to a ripe age of 80 -Nancy his wife ( I believe that's her name) came around just in time to help set him on the right path , much like June Carter to Johnny Cash. God Bless you George - hope you 're enjoying your golden years.
