I learnt this song when I was starting on guitar. I watched a lot of covers and a couple of lessons on youtube. And after all these years Ive actually improved what I learnt there, cuz Ive found several mistakes on the interpretations Ive seen before.

Before making this cover, I checked the original song again, second by second at slow speed. I tried to be very accurate.

If you dont like it, its ok :P dont worry.

you definitely need a Marshall MA series or a Haze series.

You can even take a look to a Marshall Class 5, lovely amp for sure. Check out "larzgallows" demonstration of that amp. You definitely get the perfect tone for classic rock.

Tube amps are "too loud for home", even worse if you have strict parents or bitchy neighbors.

Even a 5 watt tube amp is loud. You can always set it at low volume for home practice but the thing is you have to use high volume to get that lovely crunch you only get from a tube amp.

well this one, I learnt it some time ago. I watched some videos here on youtube and got the tuning, understood the fingerpicking and some of the chords, then I figured out the rest by ear.

I remember the first time I listened to this song, it sounded like impossible to cover, but its actually very simple.

well, yeah, I wish I had a condenser but I guess this cheap dynamic did a very good job :P

I would stick with the 57, because unless you were willing to dish out some cash for a very nice condensor, your sound might get too "boomy" if you were to use a cheaper Chinese condensor (they have "low mid" frequency issues most of them, which is why they are cheap). I used to have that problem recording acoustic guitars until I upgraded to better equipment. Keep up the good work!
