She is super nice, a sweetheart, and will always give back to her fans. Her lyrics come from experiences, love, and other things. She stays true/real to who she is. It's to be expected because of the genre they are in, and unless the commenters deliberately trying, comments "noticing" race are not inherently disrespectful. It's actually complimentary that they can transcend the stereotypical race genres and still be successful. Alexis Brown, William Duvall, Lajon Witherspoon, and even Corey Glover (& co)...I love to see them in metal/rock!

Story by this band that Alexis is so damn sweet & down to earth.. Before the concert started, I was walkin by the arcade area of this bar they're gonna play a show at called Brick by Brick. An this arcade area was by the restrooms so i went took a piss came out an she was still there playin the second best game of our childhood (her an I r round same age) Street Fighter. Long story short I challenged & she pounded those buttons & she kicked my ass everytime lol i had a blast hangin out wit her.

I do enjoy these guys (and girl) but I feel like they should have someone else for the screams. Shes got talent, no doubt. But I feel there isn't enough power behind them. Her clean vocals are beautiful though. Don't get me wrong, she's good at both. But I think a more powerful screamer would do this band even more justice.
