Can someone tell me if this is a fast netbook? The person i was talking to said its good for games and stuff. I play runescape and i was wondering if this is a good netbook for that. Will it freeze alot playing this game or will it be fast like my friends im usuing now? Also, i need to download hypercam onto it. i've been thinking about buying a netbook for a while now. and i've come across loads.

this is at the top of the list. the only negative thing i've read about it is the mouse. sometimes it goes slightly nuts?

my laptop also have a glossy display, but there's possibility to change it. you can stick a foil, that makes it dull. i haven't test it, but i will.

i got this nb for christmas its amazing! im watching this video on it lol its got a very high resolution screen, power settings so you can get the most out of it the battery life wow ive had a few laptops now this is by far the best ive had its somthing like 6 hour battery life

About the glossy display it seems at first to be annoying in direct light...but it isn't you can even see it in direct sun light without any reflection as long as you adjust the angle..

So in my opinion it has the right amount of glossy :)

This netbook looks great, I especially like the keyboard. I haven't typed yet on a Toshiba NB200, but can anyone tell me 1) is this keyboard solid enough and 2) is it the right keyboard for an avid typist?

I do a lot of writing and text editting, therefore I need a keyboard that's solid enough. Any other suggestions?

(I've tried out the Acer Aspire One and the Packard Bell Dot and both keyboards "looked" solid enough, but I haven't purchased a netbook yet.

I am a big fan of the Samsung NC10 because of its' keyboard. The NB200 offers imho the best trackpad/keyboard combination on the netbook market so far and yes, after reviewing some 120+ netbooks, i can recommend this!

Thanks for your reply. The NC10 is also a beauty :) This one looks great too, but first I need to find a pc store that has the Toshiba in stock. Because it's got to have the right feel :-) Earlier this year I almost ordered a HP Mini 2140 because the keyboard looked so great online, but as soon as I had the chance to try one out I was highly disappointed the the plasticky feel. I'm not in a hurry to buy one, so I take my time :)

Tested this netbook at Bestbuy the keyboard and display is great but the bezel around the display is so large it dwarfs the display comparatively to the dell mini 10 and the hp mini 1000, the 6 cell battery is awesome but the main draw back for me was the audio..simply horridness sounded worse than mono audio going with the hp or dell now

Press "FN" then "F8". Then press "F8" until it says that Wifi is on. =) Took me 4min to find it out. :P Good luck =)

I think when you talk about the seashell, it is one of the thinnest on the market at 1.1kg. No replacement battery.The NB200 are similar to those already on the market, execpt that it offers a welcome feature sleep & charge. The battery time, around 8-9 hours on a standard use, around 5 hours & 50mins with everything on full usage. I would agree with minipcpro that Toshiba would be more productive in what you can achieve with a greater battery life & a great screen to compliment it.

i saw this in stores and it looks really cheap plastic if u look at it closely as far as the shell casing compares to other netbooks like the Dell Mini 10 and the Lenovo s10.

This looks better than the Eee 1000HE without the battery..but unfortunately the battery protrudes out which is a pet peeve of mine.While the 1000HE's does not..Everything else seems pretty much identical,so I would chose the 1000HE.
