In the summer of 1981, when I was about to turn 19, I was a student at Christ for the Nations Institute. One day, a student who I met that summer and became friends with, invited me down to his dorm room to hear a song he had written after a 3-week fast seeking God. That student was the composer and author of this song, Marty. I knew immediately this song would last forever, that should share it with the school. He did. Now it's been around the world many times over. God sees and hears.

That student was the composer, Marty Nystrom, a a school teacher from Washington state. He was only in Dallas at Christ for the Nations for that summer but he touched God.

When I was 18, maybe just turned 19, the summer of 1981, I knew a summer school student where I was attending who asked me to his dorm one evening to listen to what God had given him after a three week fast seeking God.

Yes it is. This is the famous Banawe Rice Terraces in Ifugao Province. There are even places in Ifugao which showcases even magnificent views of the terraces but are from from highways, so you need to walk/hike for hours to reach these places. The view and the music are so inspiring.. ENJOY.
