  • LOL I remember when the Crusher was a bad guy, everyone loved to hate him then he took on another bad guy and because he won he became a good guy, don't remember who he beat to change his fate but I sure loved this guy from then on, he dished out pain to all the bad guys nightly HAAAAA I miss ya Jerry

  • The Crusher and The Bruiser were the original L.O.D. of the 60's.. the looks, power and pain they dished out hands down! The best in his day right here!

  • HE WAS TRUELY A WRESTLER YOU HAD TO SEE IN ACTION ALONG WITH DICK THE BUISER. A TAG TEAM IN THE RING WHO COULD REALY KICK BUTT! RIP CRUSHER AND BRUISER

  • Two turkey-necks hit the dislike button by mistake.

  • who did this music please? cramps cover or cramps covered?

  • @rocksteady1312: The Novas.

  • Da Crusher . . . didn't get to see him until my area (Springfield MA) finally got cable TV in the early '80s. I loved how "over" he was with the fans. He could do no wrong in the eyes of his fans. Perennial winner of the "Mr. S'loon" contest - the criteria were that you had to drink beer, do the polka, and throw bums outta s'loons, y'know, all the important stuff ya gotta know in life.

  • I lived across the street from him on Brookdale Drive in South Milwaukee (a suburb a few miles south of Milwaukee by the lake) from 1978-1990. Rarely saw him, but always saw his copper Coupe DeVille with white vinyl top in the driveway. I mowed his lawn a few times and went to South Milwaukee High with his granddaughter, Lisa. The Lisowskis always seemed like pretty cool down to earth people. R.I.P., Reggie!

  • I loved watching the Crusher in the ring on All Star Wrestling when I was a kid. I also got to see him in action at the local matches. Most of all it was fun hearing him talk about smacking Weesel Henning around and singing "Pop Goes the Weesel".

  • keep the memory alive rest in peace Crusher and Bruiser, awesome tribute video to the Crusher

  • I got to meet Reggie in the early 60's. Outside of the ring, he was a true gentleman. One thing I remember most about him, he loved children.

  • The music makes me want to grab a 'Dolly'. dance a polka, and have a beer, or two...Da Crusher and Da Bruiser, TY, RIP...

  • "Do the hammer lock, you turkey necks!!!

  • Crusher was the best ever. That was back when wrestling was real. :D

  • I used to love it when he came into the ring carrying a keg of beer on his shoulder. He made Milwalkie famous. Raaar!!

  • He use to train by carring to 1/2 barrels of beer from South Milwaukee to Wawatosa. Filled them up and went back to South Milwaukee. I intervewed him in 9th grade back in the 60s. He was my hero. I lived in Racine I went to just about all his matches in Milwaukee.

  • 47 seconds...crusher and the bruiser kicking ass.

  • The Crusher was the best.

  • the "ORIGINAL and ONLY CRUSHER!!!"

  • AWA is the 1st wrestling I remember watching with my Dad. And everyone loved the Crusher. He was the Hulk Hogan of the Midwest

  • I have an old wrestling magazine that has a featured "profile" of Da' Crusher and these were is stats: 6', 260, 60" chest & 22" biceps and this was before seriods! I heard he was as strong as he was big too. He was and will always be THE MAN and by far is my favorite wrestler. RIP Reggie and thanks for the memories buddy!

  • dont be so sure his partner did them

  • "Do the crusher, ya turkey necks!"

  • Crusher...one tough Polack from 'Sout Milwaukee!

  • not as big as King Kong Bundy but DA CRUSHER would give him TWO black eyes! what a wiggy fellow, hadn't heard this tune but only saw the Cramps play it for an encore live in Mpls where Saturdays at 5:00 da crusher threw a TV in a commercial!!!

  • What great classic photos with Dick The Bruiser!

Look at how serious he was locking grips with The Road Warrior!

  • David Letterman has started using this song on a show. Last night (2/18) at random times during the show, this song would start playing over the loudspeakers in the studio, with Dave doing his confused "what? what?" I also remember this song being a staple on The Dr. Demento Show as a kid

  • Yes! Thats because Dave was a huge Dick The Bruiser fan! Dave loves the old WWA and AWA Professional Wrestling.

  • I never knew that, that's so cool. One more reason to love Dave.

  • I grew up in Milwaukee, and watched All Star Wrestling on channel 18 all the time! Da Crusher was my favorite of all out there (along with "Mean Gene Okerlund"--he got his start in AWA in Milwaukee? Wikipedia doesn't say). To me, hw was the "Hulk Hogan" of wrestling in the 70's. Might Hogan have watched Da Crusher too???

  • This ranks up there with Andy Kaufman's "I Trusted You" as one of the greatest rock songs of all time! I saw Da Crusher live when I was thirteen. I'll never forget him.

  • is he the chicago crusher?? am confused, that sexy daddy?

  • This is the ORIGINAL CRUSHER from Milwaukee a PRO WRESTLER.... The Chicago Crusher is a amateur wrestler and bodybuilder from Chicago who also loved the real Crusher and took on his name for fun in his amateur meets. Thinking back he should have been more original to avoid confusion but who knew that so many folks would want to see his videos on youtube.

  • The Wrestler who made Milwaukee famous! Dick The Bruiser and The Crusher were the toughest ever!

  • Crusher and bruiser were the best ever

  • This guy would rip your fucking head off!

  • An icon from the Golden Age of wrestling. A FANtastic tribute, thanks so much.

  • oooooooooooooooooo wata ruuussssssssshhhhhhhhhh

  • Amazing, just amazing!

  • Crusher was a neighbor of mine and remember many back yard bbq's! Anyone remember "Ralph The Elf?"

  • Ummm, no. It's "The Novas". As has been said twice already.

  • Milwaukee is Crusher Country!

  • RIP Crusher! He would be so popular yet today. Very nice video and song. Good tribute to a true entertainer.

  • Reggie was a great guy & it was an honor to be able to work with him once during my AWA time....

  • Da Crusher was the Greatest! The poster at 1:42- I was at that match in Milwaukee(1980's?)and it was amazing! Everyone was on their feet from start to finish. He gave Bundy&Studd the Crusher "Bolo"!

  • The Crusher was the king.

  • this song is so rare i can't even find it online to download it.

  • Everytime someon says Stone Cold stole his gimmick from the Sandman, I have to shake my head. Crusher CREATED the prototype for the blue-collar, beer swiller gimmick. Not to mention he looked like the guy at every bar that you don't mess with if you value your health.

  • when 'rasslin' was 'rasslin'...

  • DA CRUSHER ... one of a kind

Bless da man who made mill-wa-key famous ... we'll miss you reggie !

Hay! da tune wasn;t all that bad turkey neck !

  • The wrestler who made Milwaukee famous, the man with the one-tausind-megaton biceps, the one, the only, the Crusher! RIP Reggie

  • My Dad, was the lead guitar in the band. They are being inducted in to the Minneasota Rock & Roll hall of fame on April 28 07. The original band is back together after 30 years. RADDDDD

  • My Uncle has this on a 45.

  • Crusher is "dancing da polka wit da dollies" up there right now. Saw a lot of him in the 1970s. A fitting tribute...thank you!

Just a public service announcement for fans of the late great Reggie Lisowski.

  • That is about as old school as you get! What a character! And what a great tribute
