  • Will they fillet and cook on the boat? I love to eat fresh sea fish, must go in the future.

  • is that a diesel boat

  • Just got back from a fishing trip in destin. My first time! Our catch of the day was a 45lbs King Mackeral. We caught a boat load of Red Snapper also. Good time hope I get a chance to do it again.

  • the guy in 3:29 never heard of pump and reel in?

  • it must suck with all those ajs when ur tryin to get to the grouper

  • I love all the hatred. get a life people... anyway this is a GREAT video! I went to Destin last October and we had a blast catching Snapper. You guys hit em' hard!

From a "Deep Sea Fishing" Florida boy....

  • @SynQ86 dude it's a fish, not a child stop being a baby and one of those dumbass tree huggers.

  • whats the limit on the fish you caught.

  • ahhhh love boat fishing but the thing is ur arm hurts in tha morning

  • Idiots get a life

Big boys throwing them in a bucket

  • nice

  • great job guys...did well

  • could anyone please tell me what a deep sea fishing pole usually cost?

  • Very little respect for the fish. Just tossing them into a bucket, head first. Disgusting.

  • @SynQ86 true, true

  • whats up wit the bracket old mates using about 3:30 into the video???....thats not fishing.....

  • looks like you guys had a great day! What kind of bait were you using?

  • what kind of fish are you catchin there?

  • catch and release? and let the oil kill them and go to waste......ya right dude. besides its like 130 bucks an hour to fish....

  • Amazing.

  • nice puka = )

  • see the big cod (first one) you can clearly see its swim bladder bursting through its throat. this means it was pulled up quickly and releasing it would be pointless, its already doomed.

also it means they are using quite heavy gear to pull them up quick enough for that to happen : not very sporting! but yeah fun all the same :)

i havent been in a lonnggggg time but i miss it.

  • Nice fish!! I would keep them too :-)

Why do people think we should release every fish we catch?

Looking forward to my next trip out!

  • Nice work you brought back some good eatin!

  • mmmmmmmmm fish.

  • catch and release? ROFL! If im paying good money, im kepping my limit. Shit

  • The AJ's go well but I dont think they're the best table fish. Cobia, Cod, Emporer, yes.

  • awesome catch fellas good job, awesome fishing charter by the looks of it.

  • do you guys "neck" the fish???...cut their throats or just dump them in a bin???...dont want to get the boat messy???

    good vid tho...great looking fish.

  • great!!!

  • I work at the dock where Sunrise is. You picked the right guy to go with. Also check on first light. He's a great guy and knows what he's doing. that is if kelly's booked

  • This boat has more big fish records in the Gulf then anyone. If u want to go catching and not fishing this is the guy to go with....

  • mate thats good fishing

  • why did you eat the amberjacks they suck on the table

  • Are you serious? That is some of the finest table fare around.

  • looks like you guys had a blast out there. i got 2 trips schedualed for this june and august out of south jersey. cant wait

  • can someone check me on this... was that a Scamp on the middle top... the bigger one... If so... it's a monster Scamp... I believe the record is only about 29 pounds...., and that one on the board is up their... Even if it isn't, it's still a good one..

  • thats cuz florida fishing sucks

  • no it does not

  • omg i am so dizzy watching this video

  • nice vid how much did the boigger fish weigh? if you still remmeber

  • love the video wish we had days like that in England

  • great job guys... ever hear of catch and release?

  • Yep - and we properly release DOZENS after the limit is reached; we eat the rest (this wasn't a free trip btw)

  • ok ...kool ...

  • i dont know how ya'll can fish in florida with your low fishing limits on speckle trout 's and what is it 15-20 inch???? i can catch 25 25inch trout if i want in louisiana but we have a better population of trout then ya'll

  • nothing wrong with keepn some meat, if this was taken when diesel prices were high,it cost these guys some loot to get out there.

The commercial boats are the ones who need to chill on taking out massive of amounts of fish.

  • @mrsnotz Ever hear of food? Dumbass.

  • @mrsnotz haha . dude the cath and release...you think that is for all fish you get? and deep see fishes often died when you release them due the preasure changes. and shut up about catsh and release. all sportfishermens know when its time to release a fish and not. this is food fishing they doing

  • @mrsnotz Hater. You don't have to release everything geesh.

  • @mrsnotz hippie

  • i went deep sea fishing in june and i caught a 5 foot king macrol

  • WHERE WER U FISHING

    I WANT TO KNOW

  • who was ur captin

  • the sunrise is capt. kelly

I live here and see them and their catch every day. They just brought a 750lb mako shark back.

  • very cool

  • i love goin fishing i might go in a few days or so deep sea tat it and ...do u guys eat the fish u catch...?

  • Great range of species - Looks like awesome fishing! Love that Grouper too!

    Dave. DV Editor. BragNRelease.

  • Very nice video!!

  • im 12 and i love to go deep sea fishing we go beach twice a year and always go im going in liek 6 days to the beach we gonna go (:

  • one fish two fish red fish blue fish

    Dr..sues

  • that is called bottom fishing...not technically deep sea fishing-just to clarify, and that is pretty weird that they aren't putting them on ice...and it don't take anything to kill a cobia or any other fish...you don't actually have to "kill" it. stuff it in the damn locker...they're fish...you don't have to club them

  • AGAIN.... this few minutes of video does not show every detail of what the charter boat guys are doing - just because you didn't see the fish being iced in this 5 minutes of video from an all day excursion doesn't mean they weren't iced...

And for the casual tourists in the panhandle the terms deep sea and bottom fishing are used interchangeably by boat captains and trip advertisements.

  • @yukonsneaky THANK YOU!!! lol im a deckhand on a boat out of orange beach and people get mad when we only go out 8 or 9 miles. they say "this ain deep sea fishin" when they only booked a 5 hour trip haha

  • Yeah you do when you first throw them into the boat. Or else they will tear things up unless they are knocked out until you can get them onto ice.

  • were those garbage cans or buckets because if they were buckets i would be suprised how many buckets you had and by the way great jew fish

  • They were LARGE plastic garbage cans, check the picture at 4:45 in the video for the fish we put on the board.

  • My first time deep sea fishing was cancelled because of bad weather....your lucky you got to go.

  • you guys were catching that day

  • nice fishes o and real nice red snapper

  • you idiots. when you'll kill a fish then you must make it with a knive or something you can't just wait till the fish hasn't oxigen!!!!!

Poor Fish ! you stupid stupid IDIOTS

  • great fishing, but you could at leat put the fish out of their misery first istead of leaving them 2 suffer. Im a fisherman, but have respect for my quary and if i was going to take a fish for supper, then id at least knock it over the head first!

  • man i have a 29 boat in destin and we catch bigger fish than that i will put a video on for yall.

  • great. where is the video?

  • poor fish are treated so inhumanely :(

  • These guys didn't have enough sense to hit them with a mallet or put them on ice- That's just stupid, making them die of suffocation.

  • These 4-5 minutes of video don't quite show every angle and every moment of the 12+ hour trip.

  • True, I should have thought about that.

(I also remembered how d*** hard it is to kill a Cobia without waiting a moment, XD)

  • crazy! was that a red snapper i saw at one point?

  • OMG nice fish!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • mang!!great job guys

  • good fishing

  • Very nice ..... Enjoyed the vid

  • nice red snapper

  • were did you guys go fishing? cause you got great fish! =p

  • It was a charter trip, some of their spots...

  • dinner is served!!!

  • tht was a big grouper

  • do yall catch any dolphin or tuna

  • On the 12 hour trips we concentrate on bottom fishing, grouper, snapper, and amberjack. Overnight trips you go out to the oil platforms for tuna, etc.

  • Thanks

  • How far did yall go out

  • Depends, each trip is different depending on the weather / water. I believe that trip maybe 40-50 miles, it was a 12 hour 'all day' trip.
