I knew the terrorist were coming back to finish the job while i was working at Cantor Fitzgerald.

We even talked about it. I said what is to stop the terrorist from flying a plane into the building. My co-worker laughed and said - the air force would intercept the plane. I was fired shortly after that. A few years later - i woke up to the news on Sept 11.

They had no idea that in september 2001 the towers would come falling down. They might of thought "these towers are the strongest and best" but just 1 plane could bring it down.

@imagoner24 Not one, but two planes, one for each tower. And the planes used during the 9/11 attack were a lot bigger than the planes in the seventies. The architects couldn't imagine that planes would grow so much larger in a few decades.

@adamvaldosta8 ow really. According to the Boeing website. 707 is wingspan 145 feet, length 152 feet. 757 is wingspan 124 feet, length 155 feet and 178 ft for the longer version.
