  • this is jersey shore

  • This deserves WAAAY more views

  • Shocking how he doesn't want to stop being a rock star. Can't believe it hasn't gotten old. Crowds of people, rocking music, gorgeous women throwing themselves at you. Glad I don't have to do it.

  • To live one day of his life would be the best day of my life.

  • he was fierce when he was young. and cute enough to win all our hearts. I do think he needs now to take a walk backwards and remember what it was we liked about him all the way back then.

  • I wonder if this assclown has a fan with an IQ over 50?

  • @wb6162 it doesn't sound like your IQ is much higher that 50.

  • Where do I get one of those mint age orange suits, Clarence?

  • no one will ever play the sax like THE BIG MAN......R.I.P. Clarence

  • Bruce and jon bon jovi. the 2 greatest things to come out of new jersey. FACT

  • The greatest rock video of all time. By the way, the real patriots were the ones who did not go to Nam. God Bless Freedom.

  • a total classicf

  • THE BOSS

  • snogging a bird who just ran on stage? fucking lad

  • One of the MOST underrated songs of all time. I've only ever heard it played ONCE on the radio. How the hell does that happen?!

  • This is what comes first in to my mind when I hear the words: "Rock & Roll"

  • Yeah, dklein2008, they lip synced that girl screaming into the microphone, too. Good one.

  • @oldsupervic does it matter if he didn't fight in vietnam, thats just one less life lost in the biggest fuckup in american history and a talent saved that inspired thousunds

  • daniel brou

  • @oldsupervic Ask self-avowed superpatriot motormouth Ted Nugent how he avoided Nam. Bruce's method was very mild compared to that .....

"According to a July 15, 1990 Detroit Free Press interview, Nugent claimed that ten days before his Draft Board Physical he ingested nothing but junk food and Pepsi, and a week before his physical he stopped using the bathroom altogether, virtually living inside pants caked with excrement and stained by his urine."

    Now that's manly!

  • @oldsupervic There's clearly no beginning to your intelligence. Courtney Cox appeared in the video for Dancing In The Dark. She would have been about 12 years old when this was shot. None of it is staged. So Bruce didn't go to Vietnam? The shame is that every American who DID go didn't follow his lead.

  • @oldsupervic actually he had a motorcycle accident and his knee was blown out and he failed his physical. Learn the facts or shut your pie hole

  • @craigd2599 Facts - He runs around stage ok Also "Bruce's own interviews/stage banter at times says it was because he did everything he could, including acting crazy as well as checking that he was a homosexual" Strange behaviour for a guy with a serious leg problem. When I heard they spent millions of dollars to make him a star (apparently they couldn't give his records away), I stopped enjoying his music. However check out the prologue to the live THE RIVER which is cool

  • @wb6162 Lol

    Faggot.

  • @wb6162<----------- FUCKING DICKLESS FAG!!!!

  • @CommanderMT101 Classic Springsteen fan. Dumb as a post.

  • @CommanderMT101 Calm down and put your Nickelback CD in.

  • that girl was full on making out with him. whoa

  • got to be the best live single performance of a song captured on film.hard to beat.

  • haha..... i lisen to this song ever day nd i involuntarily learned the song

  • Clarence, you just were the BIGGEST and COOLEST muther fuckin sax ever, miss u bro' !

  • You need a Rosetta Stone to follow the lyrics, but DAMN this makes you want to rock out!

  • d very buckin fest!!!!

  • Clarence..jamming with God

  • BRILLANT

  • Man, Bruce was ganged-up royal that night. Nice also to see Little Steven and 'The Big Man' at their apex that night!

  • They just dont make music like this anymore.

  • Rosalita didn't come out tonight for the 2 people who disliked this

  • Weird, the singing stopped when he left the microphone, oh wait, he's a real musician that performs live shows and doesn't lip sync... forgot musicians did that

  • holy shit. so much passion.

  • And by the way, the Beatles are my favorite band by a wide margin, but why compare apples to oranges?

  • I don't even own a Bruce Springsteen album, but even I know this is the greatest live performance by the greatest live performer in all of Rock and Roll! The energy, the charisma, the air-tight E-Street Band, and the girls who couldn't be stopped! Bruce holding court in Phoenix like this brings tears of joy to my eyes. How can this be topped?

  • @radiopicture Your right - I like Bruce, don't get me wrong, you do have a point.

  • It doesn't get any more fucking legendary than this.

  • I Love This Bruce Springsteen 1978 Music Video, "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight) (Live)."

  • @radiodj1520 Thanks for noting it's 1978, not 1988...This is one of the best songs, performances and artists EVER!

  • killing them on sax

  • rubbish!! If that was the case why did the security guards pretend to drag them away -

it is just manipulation - He has the right initials!

  • @oldsupervic im a fan of bruce springsteen but i agree with you. its not like she was gonna kill him or hurt him.

  • @wb6162 go fuck yourself

  • @wb6162 Go back home and fuck a goat, it's the only thing you can do incompetent bastard.

  • Tell him this is his last chance, to get his daughter in a fine romance, 'cause the record company Rosie, they just gave me a shit - load of cash" Well, that's why he's Bruce and I'm not!

  • I assume all the girls who came on stage to kiss their "idol" were paid like Actress Courtney Cox - she got $300.00 - The Beatles didn't need to do this!! The Boss should be ashamed of himself

  • @oldsupervic Lol who cares, bro. Just enjoy the music. it added to the performance.

  • @oldsupervic That was in a music video and because she was getting paid as an actress not as an actual fan at an actual concert. Big difference.

  • @oldsupervic man fuck the Beatles this is the boss.

  • @sublime01161 I only mentioned the Beatles as a comparison of a top quality act - BS second rate - he couldn't give his records away until his record company spent millions of dollars pushing him.

However I do like the prologue to his live version of THE RIVER

  • @oldsupervic yeah but just because someones records are not popular doesnt mean anything. look at what people will buy today its all crap. he is an amazing songwriter and there is no denying that.

  • @sublime01161 Beatles = 27 number 1 hits / Bruce Springsteen = 0 number 1 hits.

The Beatles are the boss of the Boss.

    Fuck you.

  • @41ofus you just proved my point just cause they are popular doesnt mean they are good the beatles were like the jonas brothers of there day just saying

  • @41ofus how much stupid u r..beatles r best ever band but if bruce hadnt n.1 hits (youre wrong) it doesnt mean that hes a genius, stupid comparison..theyre different

  • @EllliotJack4 What? Learn to write.

  • @41ofus learn to understand YouTube English

  • @EllliotJack4 Oh, okay...i need u 2 check you-self, or wreak u-self....

  • @41ofus Just because the Beatles produced music that "sold" doesn't mean that they are better than the Boss. You argument reeks of a small minded point of view to what makes music good, there have been 1000s of songs that were #1 hits that suck. Because Ke$ha had a #1 hit she’s better than Bruce, lmao.

  • @RedsoxFan20042007 At that point in time; The Beatles went from being a very good band and evolved into an extremly great band; the mainstream couldn't help but to force themselfs upon them. The Beatles didn't force themselfs onto the mainstream; and because of that they're just more popular then The Boss.

  • @41ofus I don't know what the point of such a comparison is. Its like comparing Barbara Streisand with Led Zeppelin. It doesn't make sense. Bruce Springsteen and the Beatles are completely different. They have a different focus, wrote about different things, saw music differently. There really isn't much sense in comparing them.

If you have to make comparisons it might make more sense to compare Springsteen & Thin Lizzy, but still I don't see the point. If you don't like him, just don't listen

  • @41ofus so if justin bieber get 28 number one hits, then he's better than beatles? FUCK OFF

  • @longwaitforwaitingpo No he's not better then the Beatles; if your mom gets gangbanged by 28 black guys - is she a bigger hoe than J-Lo?

    I would say maybe. LOL

  • @41ofus ok

  • @41ofus this comment right here proves me and my new found youtube buddies(thats you guys) just destroyed your shitty little Beatles argument #getatmeonthefacepagebitch

  • @oldsupervic that was a music video...this is a live performance

  • Too bad Springsteen decided to abuse his popularity and become a politician.

  • @IMattchew too bad bruce springsteen is actually using his voice for postive things i think is what you maen tot say. If i were bruce id voice my opinions too

  • @IMattchewB All musicians are politicians, bud. Every musician voices their opinion (for the most part), and it's what makes their music so powerful. Whether he took it to the next level and got into it all after has nothing to do with his music as a whole. His music was political enough, as much music from that era was.

  • @Iwishiwerethird I wouldn't say all of them, 'cause if they were I'd probably be dead. At least I wouldn't be into music like I am. And really it's what they say that matters also - John Lennon said peace to you; others say the U.S.A. can go to hell - that determines whether or not I'm gonna boycott 'em.

  • @Iwishiwerethird Yeah, it's just too bad that a lot of these musicians can write a song but are morons, and people suckle every dumb, misinformed word that spews out of their mouth.

  • @IMattchewB Truth.

  • Assurdi, tutti: questa è la colonna sonora della mia giovinezza e a chi non lo capisce la meraviglia di tutto questo non posso dire altro, dite pure quel che volete, non risponderò. Vince Born to Run, 1969

  • I miss you, Clarence.

  • I mean seriously, he's such a dink.

  • @wb6162 Nah, you're an assclown. He's GOD. Don't confuse yourself. Thanks for being Rosalita's dad.

  • Fine, I'll respond twice. Why don't you get back to us when not only has the president praised you, but when you've basically spit in his face afterwards? Then you can stop being the assclown you are.

  • @Hister333 So The Bruce spit in the president's face after he praised him? Wow, what an assclown. His career is over without Clarence. Springsteen fans have a banjo playing in their heads 24/7, the only explanation I can come up with for being a fan of that assclown.

  • @wb6162 Bruce didn't want to be a tool. If you enjoy being a tool, then I respect your decision to be a tool. I won't accuse you of being a Lady Gaga or Bieber fan, but I would LOVE to know what you exalt as great music...

  • What an assclown. Terrible music. And I'll bet those chicks who jumped up on stage were planted. Something an assclown like the bruce would do.

  • @wb6162 Get out troll.

  • This video is an absolute treat. It shows Bruce in all of his great performance and musical glory, its funny, joyous and ofcourse Clarence Clemmons gets a big spot light and deservedly so. He brought out the best in Springsteens's great music and will be sorely missed. Bruce, you;ve given so much joy to my life and I love you. Clarence, what can I say. you're great and unforgetable performer and sacrificed so much of your self for Bruce's success. Thanks and this song is tops!

  • Any time I need to feel the exultation of simply being alive, all I gotta do is watch this video. Tears of joy, always.

  • RIP Big Man!

  • I've been amazed at how hard the death of Clemons has hit me. Imagine this song without the sax, or Born To Run or dozens of other--the E Street Band MUST be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Bruce was, but not the E Street Band. Bruce rocks, but not without the E Street Band! Let's get Clarence in there with his mates. In the meantime, let's enjoy his amazing performance in this song and others.

  • RIP Clarence Clemons the greatist rock saxophonist

  • Clarence the big man! I'm sure wherever you end up we'll be hearing your joy and energy from wherever we are in every Springsteen song you ever touched!

  • I love this song so much. I love all of Bruce's msuic, but it simply won't be the same without Clarence Clemons. R.I.P. We'll miss you Big Man.

  • Heaven's got one hell of a sax player for the band!

  • Thank's Clarence, you rock. I'll never forget blasting this track on cassette in my first car at 17.

  • This was the zenith of real rock n roll before MTV overproduced and predigested crap for mass consumption. Those were the days, my friend,

  • Clarence makes me jump a little lighter. Sax in Peace Big Man.

  • RIP Clarence, there's some jamming going upstairs bigman!!

  • Best Sax ever

  • He had SO much left to give. Too soon.

Thank you for everything Clarence. R.I.P.

  • I really didn't know why there should be sax players in rock bands until I heard sax finale to "Jungleland". Then I never had to ask again. Thanks for the sound of our youth, Clarence. I pray there is a big stage up there, you deserve the big stage.

  • Sad, just sad. Is Eddie and the Cruisers sax guy free?

  • The Big Man forever. The last great sax man in Rock and Roll.

  • One of the greatest live Rock and Roll concert videos ever. Thanks Clarence...

  • R.I.P Big Man... we will missed you

  • RIP Big Man. Love your work....

  • Rest in peace Clarence, you're in Rock n' Roll Heaven now

  • @dooosilver I am a nineteen year old male and I want to be in her place

  • Such a great sax player Clemons was, the world won't be the same without him!

  • Rock with the Angels Big Man. xoxo

  • Clarence, you left us too soon, but you left us with great music!

  • I love this version...I just adore this song...and so did my old fashioned Mexican father!!...I hope he is buying the Big Man a drink right now and living it up in Heaven....RIP...u did your job on earth...u gave much happiness and your music will jam on forever...now go jam with the greats in heaven....have a blast...:D

  • There's a dislike button but no dislike bar:D

  • And now I know why old farts hate modern music: Fuck that shit. THIS IS AWESOME.

  • who is the 1 idiot that thinks this sucks?

  • @GRobb62 Probably jealous of Bruce having all these ladies running after him!
