hey mate, I have got a maisto speed beast,I am just wondering whether I could replace it with brush-less motor, and also if I am changing it to a new motor ya do I have to change the transmitter to, coz this is my first Rc car I havent got any clue about these stuff plz help me out.

@mjthebest18 your esc is supposed to get war/hot, that is why it has a heatsink or fan, to stop it getting too hot, but if it is warm it means it is working good, same with the battery if lipo not sure for nimh or others and the motor will get very hot, just leave it to cool a little before taking it out again after a battery is dead:)

use lipo on that car dude, it will fly.

did you have anyproblem with pinion gear size? i ordered a brushless motor and esc for my car and the pinion gear seems to not fit the shaft on the motor like the older one did its a little loose any sugestions? just tighten it up or what?

very helpful video. even though its pretty old. you're probably not making anymore vids but who cares. you should make a video on how to install and belt on the belt powered car.

So basically to install a brushless motor its the same as a regular one? I'm new to RC cars, so any tips will help. I have the Electrix RC Curcuit Truck. It's only been out for about a month now

omg i toatly forgot i had postor mounts thx :) ive been trying to mount my esc foreeeeeever also my hpi sprint 2 drift has not been working i dont know what it is it wont let me move the car but i can turn my wheels and one day i pushed it and it suddenly drove off and hit a wall do you have any advice?

@xXDINOKINGXx i found out what it was after messing with it for a while the wire connecting into the motor was ripped lol i failed alsoo do you know if u can buy those individualy or do i have to buy a whole new motor?

thanks for the video, but one quick qeustion. Will all motors fit on that mount? I know you have to get the proper "size" of the motor, but how do you know whether a certain motor will fit on that certain motor mount?

that thing where you put the esc-s wire isnt servo its reciever.

ive seen ppl install 2 nitros motors into a monster truck, can you make a dual electric motor or, install the biggest electric motor into a rc car or short trach truck?
