yeah i can always open any windows file on a mac & if necessary you can get mac versions of windows programs, but same can't be said for windows cause when something is done using a mac program I've found i can't always open it in windows. I'm surprised they didn't point that out.
Actually adding mac to my local network back at home which had one vista, one xp, two sevens, and two Ubuntus already connected really was a magic trick. It took us 5 hours to get the blasted thing to transfer anything even though it recognized that a newtwork already existed.

@mandowarrior123 It's to do with the specifics of the MOV file as you know AVI and MOV are file container types for the file, for avi there is loads of different conversions which you need codecs for such as xvid etc, but there is a certain mov conversion on final cut which wont allow the mov file to be played back on pc, it will simply state the file is unusable, unless its connected up to the mac, thankfully fixed the issue, it was due to the colleges conversion guidlines, so i ignored lol

I constantly have Mac Users ask me to convert files to something their computer can read/run. Meanwhile when they send stuff back it's usually just a matter of finding free software online to get it work on my PC.

The whole argument that the Apple has the most fun applications is based on pretending the entire computer games industry doesn't exist. Quite ridiculous really. Networking macs and PCs is a nightmare. Sometimes the shortcut I have on my PC to my mac just doesn't open and can't see the mac. It's totally hit and miss.

It can do anything that Windows or Mac can, except run programs made for Windows and Mac (except for a few Windows applications that work with WinE), but there are Linux-compatible versions or equivalents to just about everything, except most popular video games. And it's free!
Linux. :) Some distros are easier to use than others. Like Ubuntu here. If everything on your machine is compatible, you're pretty much good to go. unless you want to use it for anyreally big games, or graphics editors, or anything like that...
Not necessarily. According to Wikipedia, there are some commercials made as UK versions and not as US versions. (As well, some commercials made only for the Japanese version, with no US or UK equivalent.) I checked, and no, this commercial does NOT have an American version.

Be honest. Do you really find most Mac users that way or are you projecting this caricaturization upon them. Out side of the Mac vs. PC bullshit on the internet how many Mac users do you actually know who act like that? Don't judge by Youtube comments either, because they tend to be universally crass and uncouth regardless of the subject matter. Internet anonymity seems to turn reasonable people into assholes. I don't know why.

Haha, I'm not sure why either. You seem to keep your senses in the mess of people on YouTube. And I have met quite a few people who've attached themselves to the "Macs are so much easier to use than PC's. PC's are for business stuff." kinda people. But then again, I've met people who just like Macs and don't make a fuss.

I know it wasn't particularly original, I just feel Apple set themselves up for a fall with the advert they did about the "Fun stuff" and I felt a mini rant brewing. :)
The whole argument that the Apple has the most fun applications is based on pretending the entire computer games industry doesn't exist. Quite ridiculous really. The Macs have some good strengths but trying to make out that making family photo albums is the most fun you can have on a computer is really silly.

Networking macs and PCs is a nightmare. Sometimes the shortcut I have on my PC to my mac just doesn't open and can't see the mac. It's totally hit and miss.

yea that would be amazing since pages 08 cant open a word document for shit and if it does open it, it does not have images and most of the words of the documents. Pretty lame if you ask me but if any body can tell how to perform this magic with pages then tnx. Other than that my mac is good.

and then the mac takes 5 minutes to give you the rainbow swirl icon as it tries to figure out WTF the file it just received was. Then after recognition it gives you the swirl again wile it has to convert it into a usable txt file

It can do anything that Windows or Mac can, except run programs made for Windows and Mac (except for a few Windows applications that work with WinE), but there are Linux-compatible versions or equivalents to just about everything, except most popular video games. And it's free!

Linux. :) Some distros are easier to use than others. Like Ubuntu here. If everything on your machine is compatible, you're pretty much good to go. unless you want to use it for anyreally big games, or graphics editors, or anything like that...

Not necessarily. According to Wikipedia, there are some commercials made as UK versions and not as US versions. (As well, some commercials made only for the Japanese version, with no US or UK equivalent.) I checked, and no, this commercial does NOT have an American version.
