Once, I loved the Camaro because it beat up on mustangs in almost every comparison test in 20 years. Then I drove one and realized it was a colossal piece of shit.

@camaro88iroc I think you mean the 05-10 mustangs. They all had the three valve 4.6. I had a 2010 and smoked older camaros. I still have my 2004 which walks away from Z28's and C4 corvettes. In the corners, they don't even come close. Having raced my 04 regularly and driven it hard every day of it's life, I can confidently state that it is a more reliable and durable machine than any camaro or firebird. It rides better, handles better, and doesnt fall apart. btw, the camaro was an LT1
@MustangsCanTurnToo well we each will still have our own opinions. i own a 88 camaro iroc w/ 350 TPI, is my daily driver n has been for 5 years, when i 1st got it as my 1st car. handles corners like a champ, iroc being suspension/handling package, and still chirps the tires in 2nd(auto) slighty in 3rd also. never any problems, and oh, before i owned it is was wrecked 3 times. and was owned in canada, wisconsin, and cali, now tx. so reliability will make me keep on buying chevy's! and nothing but

The universal opinion, until the Camaro took a leave of absense, was the Camaro was faster than the Mustang and handled better on a race track, but the Mustang was easier to live with and a better car overall.

I'm obsessed with trucks cause they are literally the hogs of the road. You see a Prius behind you, you don't care if you're under the limit. You see a mini SEMI TRUCK riding your ass, you're more inclined to speed up. Truck gives you the feeling of raw power, kinda like owning a firearm.

@zdive65 a VAN would do nicely too! plus you will not get your equipment stolen from the bed and you have more cargo space in the back! even the longest bed cannot haul as much as a VAN. I hauled a 30 foot camping trailer with FORD Econoline E-350 diesel and it was great :-) That is why pickups are nice but not very convenient.

my car has weight reduction custom ram intake.true duel flowmaster 40s .and some 245/45zr17 up back.not much but i can work some wonders with my driving..i have gr8 reaction and almost perfect shifts.

Wrong. The earlier ones did not come with the hood scoop. The only 99's to come with the scoop were the special edition 35th anniversary cars. Check my vids. I have a 88 gt. No scoop.
its not that it weighs more but that year of the hemi had the least amount of horsepower being put to the wheels. My 2007 hemi ram is faster and more powerful than the 03-05 hemi rams

meh. that's what you get for buying a gasoline engine and not a 7.3l powerstroke! lol jk. i'm not too up to date with the gas engines, but by the sound of it, they blow pretty hard. my old man has a 2000 GMC Sierra with 140k on it and not one problem like that. only major repairs were brake lines and U-joints on the drive shaft (wasn't that bad). it's got the 5.3l Vortec Engine. it's a really nice truck :-)
@USMCfosho honestly, the engine is my only complaint about this truck. The tranny seems a little low tech or something, just the way it sounds and shift, but it's no biggie.
actually, whether you believe me or not, Ford has a very reliable transmission second only to the Allison transmission (GMC/Chevy HD option) for standard pickup trucks.
@USMCfosho it definitely feels like it would handle a decent load behind it, but it seems like it can't make up it's mind sometimes. Who knows, maybe the converter isn't 100%

Yeah, they do. I just hate that they lie about paying us back like that. I cannot say whether the bailouts were right or wrong. I'm not a specialist in the economy. Traditionally, a lot of Americans (esp in the Midwest) rely on trucks for work. Construction, towing, farm use, hauling equipment, off-road transportation.
I'm obsessed with trucks cause they are literally the hogs of the road. You see a Prius behind you, you don't care if you're under the limit. You see a mini SEMI TRUCK riding your ass, you're more inclined to speed up. Truck gives you the feeling of raw power, kinda like owning a firearm.

@zdive65 my dads 2008 mustang GT has a trailer hitch and about 600 hp haha. it actually handles it really well. trucks and jeeps are always a lot of fun though. im a mustang guy but trucks definitely can be a lot of fun

@zdive65 a VAN would do nicely too! plus you will not get your equipment stolen from the bed and you have more cargo space in the back! even the longest bed cannot haul as much as a VAN. I hauled a 30 foot camping trailer with FORD Econoline E-350 diesel and it was great :-) That is why pickups are nice but not very convenient.

I dont understand why u think the mustang is going to "fall apart" my mustang has been in a head on collision, hit 2 deer and been rearended and it still drives fine. well, i actually have 4 turbos now. and i ditched the metal frame and just jacked one from walmart. (really light, its made of plastic). and got a 50hp honda generator motor. so bring it on mofo. all day everyday. fast and furious, burn rubber, i live my life a quarter mile at a timeeeee. fuckkkkkkkk!!!!!!!

i have a 01 its not fast but i have beat a few mild bolt on rams.w/ the 5.7's im not on here trying to say that since i won some races that my car is the shit but dont nock the stangs just like the z28's they have great platforms so do other cars etc every car is over rated the mustang factory vs most chevy dodge factory its under powered and will lose w/ excpt of the 03 cobra ford ddnt make the stang overrated the dumb cocky aholes that drive em do

my car has weight reduction custom ram intake.true duel flowmaster 40s .and some 245/45zr17 up back.not much but i can work some wonders with my driving..i have gr8 reaction and almost perfect shifts.

lol if i had 2 more cylinder i think id run a 13.2.but na i have a v6 mustang not a gt..it only runs a best of low 15s thats y i said its slow lol .only once did it break into 13s w/ a borrowed zex nitrous kit.. yea if u click on my name theres plent of vids of my car.if u watch the mustang vs chevy somtihng vid on my page u will see a 5.7 ram next to us .the ram was orinally suppose to run the chevy but the ram got left beghind so i decided 2 chase him.

and that low 15 was with the stock 16s rims.i had a bit of wheel spin and horrible 60ft..but maby with theses 245/45 in the back nw i can prob run a high 14 thatsssssss pushing it to the xtreme cus it was hard as hell getting a almost stock v6 to get into the low 15s. excuse my grammer im on mobile youtube.off my phone.

its not that it weighs more but that year of the hemi had the least amount of horsepower being put to the wheels. My 2007 hemi ram is faster and more powerful than the 03-05 hemi rams

@USMCfosho hahaha, how about that 5.4L 3 valve?!... And the spark plug issues?! A "routine" tune-up just cost me $851.71 on my 05 F-150 supercrew 4x4 5.4L Auto. And it's only got 75K miles on it! Yep, that's quality baby!! All 8 plugs broke off in the heads... Thanks Ford, you rock!!!!

meh. that's what you get for buying a gasoline engine and not a 7.3l powerstroke! lol jk. i'm not too up to date with the gas engines, but by the sound of it, they blow pretty hard. my old man has a 2000 GMC Sierra with 140k on it and not one problem like that. only major repairs were brake lines and U-joints on the drive shaft (wasn't that bad). it's got the 5.3l Vortec Engine. it's a really nice truck :-)
