The best game for Sony Playstation 1,i played it for a couple of years with my friends.I think it was between 2000-2002 and it was the most popular game these days.Now i play sometimes and it's still great.I won the Master league twice,with ManU and O.Marseilles:)

Modern PES are too animation heavy, too many actions are dependent on the players animations, it's like fifa & pes have traded places now.

i remember watching the world cup in france playing old iss pro and waiting for this never coming out. One summer day I went to an import video game shop near my town and saw the japanese version of this game and it was like magic. Then in semptember i went to london and saw the billboards of this game outside the ECTS. It came out only around cotober 1998, months after the world cup, and was really a good game.

Its funny how football games are trying to be more and more realistic. But at a certain point realism equals boring. Look at real football on tv, good chances are generally quite rare. This game shows that even though it is a football game, its still a GAME! Its meant to be fun!

I always played as Barcelona in the master league always but Roberto Carlos up front to dassle all the defenders with his skill and speed always used to blast it in the top-corner
