Ok, for those who are confused by ending: Kurt is sent away cause dad prob. blamed him for the killing of mom, even though it was the dad. Boy only sees the pic in hall. So he escapes, actually killed 2 sec. guards, but is shot down by dad to keep him quiet about sex abuse and death of mom. In Kurt's mind, he kills the characters in his mind that he sees from the pic., his way of dealing with reality. He dies and dad goes home to his new family and repeats with new son of sex abuse.

I saw it at a film festival back in 2007. The movie, as far as slasher film, was predictable. But the ending was so messed up. I left with a sick feeling and wanted to punch the directors for ending it that way. (They were there to introduce the film)

I detected a mistake at one scene...when the cop found gary (the security guard) and the sheriffs daughter and friend, he called the sheriff and told him he found his daughter and her friend...then the sheriff asked "what about gary? is he ok"...the cop never mentioned that gary was there to the sheriff...how did the sheriff know? lol

VERY similar to John Carpenter's Halloween series but different enough and unpredictable enough to be a really good watch. I recommend that anyone that likes the horror/slasher genre watch this movie at least once. Its very well filmed and the effects are done very well... the end was confusing as hell. Im going to have to watch it again and see if i can understand what i saw... because right now im still fuzzy on it.  but everything up to that point... great.

This is a great movie, it dose look and start of with bit like Halloween, but that only for the first 15 mins, but this start of movie a really nasty bang and the twist and turns in this movie really good, i shocked with the last twist, i did not see that coming at and that was no Megan Fox, I think the her name tasha something, it dose look like Megan fox. anyone, if you like movies like Halloween/black Xmas/ identity , you need check out this movie, i give 10 out of 10
