well Tim burton it's kinda dark too: batman (and batman returns), nightmare before christmas, sleepy hollow, the man with scisorshands..i guess he's more dark than anithing else in his movies.....but some stories have only a dark side and aren't totally dark...... like charlie and the chocolate factoy! Btw I think he's the director of the grinch as well!
