  • omg!!!!!! incredible.

    SO many years have passed.

  • awesome game !!

  • i remember getting this game for christmas and being so exited loading it up

it really was amazing for its time

it was a double dragon clone really but was great to have a game where you could actualy pick up and use weapons in your own home

  • The music rocks lol

  • big bad bertha....lol..! slut

  • So it was. excellent!

  • @mickjagerbaby Yes, the game was called Head Over Heels and it was solid. You got so far and then didn't know how to get further. Strange game. : )

  • I had this game was a I was much younger..i couldn't get past level, I kept gettign lost haha!

I'm also trying to track down another old game for the Amstrad CPC, from what I can remember it was two little characters (sure they were dogs) who went from room to room solving puzzles, you could swap who you controled at anytime, stand on each other etc..but for the life of me I cant remember the title..I'm sure it was the name of the cute characters...

  • @mickjagerbaby jesus christ memories... HEAD OVER HEELS... used to play that with my brother... one on keyboard, one on joystick.... I had the OCEAN PACK with ARMY MOVES, HEAD OVER HEELS, WIZBALL, FREDDY HARDEST, YIE AR KUNG FU, GREEN BERET... DAMN those were the days.. u must have been young.... I'm 33 this year and got my CPC464 when I was 10 in 1987.. from DIXONS in MOORGATE, LONDON near where I work today :) The store is STILL THERE - now CURRYS :)

THANKS A MILLION LORD ALLAN SUGAR :)

  • @b1ueocean My god Yie Ar Kung Fu, I remember that!!! Haha

  • @b1ueocean - hi could you give me the full list of games from the ocean pack as im trying to find one game from it - thanks

  • @madmira My bad before because not all the games were Ocean games but MY GOD the compilation was MIRACULOUSLY GOOD - game after game a hit. The pack was named DIXONS TOP 20 HITS and was as follows: TAPE 1 Yie Ar Kung Fu Yir Ar Kung Fu 2 Phantom Club Arkanoid TAPE 2 Army Moves Batman the Movie Head Over Heels Baseball Green Beret Slapfight TAPE 3 Freddy Hardest Game Over Basket Master Legend Of Kage Tape 4 Tai-Pan Wizball Magmax Madballs Tank Stunning memories I have of all these gems :)
  • @b1ueocean thank you so much i have couldnt remember Yie ar kung fu for love or money. Im 30 years old now but this pack was amazing for its time. Im going to go to my parents and see if i can dig it out of the attic as i have the amstrad and monitor still in working order, thanks again !!

  • @b1ueocean one last thing i see you have named 19 of the games what was the name of the last one - sorry im being a pain !!!!

  • @madmira never a pain.. i said 20 so there should be 20... I'm pretty sure the missing title is ARMY MOVES II

  • The music is so eary fucking love it..

this game was the nuts..who remember the level with they gays in leather? lol

Or the 2 guys before the boss that used to headbutt you...fucking immense gay

  • I loved to get the hammer or the chain to beat up the enemies. It was such a hard game.

  • I want to play this game so badly!!!!

  • the 3rd level boss on this was terrifing and used to just appear behind you, unsuspecting..

  • Epic game, pretty sure I couldn't get past the 2nd or 3rd level boss, man it was tough.

  • in the last stage you fight against a big muscled guy with a billar.stick....the best of the last stage was the music...great

  • What a good memories!!!! The melody was terrific, they should make an electro remix of it, the problem was when there was a loading error after waitting for 30mins for the game to load :D

  • LOL - 0:58, WTF?!

  • Old-school sprite flying kick FTW!!!

  • I could never get past the first level.

  • quite possibly the first videogame i ever loved, target renegade and my old amstrad are probably responsible for every game and console i have owned since ...

  • @aerobes0 indeed!

  • The best Videogame's music I can remember !!!

  • c64 music was better but i still love this sound

  • The c64 had better sprites and nicer music but the CPC version had much bigger levels, more moves and more tunes. I wonder why that was.

c64 also had the roving eyeballs at the bottom of the screen that bulged out when you got kicked in the goolies.

  • great machine.

  • Awesome music!!!

  • I threw my highschool buddy out of my house because of this game lol. With a tiny bit of health left and no lives, he accidently twatted me with a baseball bat and I died. I lost it and told him to GTFO lol

  • Aye, it was worth the ten minute wait to load though. It was always quite satisfying kneeling over your enemies and giving the good old one two knuckle sandwich.

  • My God... what is happening on that loading screen?! And lime green pants?

Hah, I remember I was absolutely useless at this game. The music grates ever so slightly...

  • better on the commordore 64

  • That is much better.

  • looks like the modern games...lol

  • I passed undefined time with friends on this game, beating only the first enemies to fight together until death, the ancestor of the pvp.

  • me also in renegade i have been just to fight the first boss after i have never passed the second boss a kind of bodybuilder with a white shirt ,was it the same boss you have never fighted?, sebastien 32 years (france)

  • excellent game when played two player coop

  • This game was brilliant in its day. Still is very good, except 4 da graphics of coarse. I hated the fact that it took a half hour to load up from the tape cassettes.

  • never managed to play with it on my cpc 464!

  • Best 8bit title ever imo. Great music, hilarious fun with the weapons, and when you got bored you could beat your partner up! The closest we ever got to the legendary Double Dragon.

  • It's predecessor had far better graphics but lousy gameplay - too easy.

If they had taken the graphics from the first and made the difficulty match the arcade Renegade aka Kunio Kun, the game would have been a classic. I bought the game for a tenner and completed it in a day :(

  • classic graphics were brilliant for its day 2 player mode was a proper laugh

  • Good stuff, I agree renegade was better, but you had to load every level in renegade.

  • Great music!!! I remember this game always crashed on my CPC >:(

  • haaaaaa :)

    this music

  • It was good but Renegade was better. I remmeber buying it expecting this to be better than Renegade. A good effort but no cigar!

  • me n my mate played this game so much wen it first came out, brilliant!!!

  • This video was created for remember this classic game, if you think that you can do a superplay video for target renegade, feel free to do it...this is not the objective of this video. thanks

  • was renegade 3 the one with the dinosaurs or something?

    it was indeed shit.

  • anyone have renegade III?

    it was complete shit.

  • deadly game!

  • Oh the memories!!

  • Good game! Too bad the NES version sucked. :(

  • i still can remember the music of the park level

  • What a rugged game! I loved this shit back in the day, and imagine the tune done by an orchestra - it would be epic!

  • I also did some CPC video captures for youtube but i didn't manage to sync video+audio (as you can see in my latest videos). What programs do you use for getting them ok?

  • Never played this. Looks good. Reminds me of Double Dragon running at a faster pace.

  • One of my fav games on Amstrad. The music of this game, especially the in the last level is great.

  • Have you got a video of the original Renagade's music on the CPC at all? Thats the music I remember most. Still got it stuck in my head and i've not played the game for nigh on 20 years!!!

  • love the haunting melodies on this game - what about the title sequence music? - that's amazing!

  • I've made a version of that music, here;

    watch?v=5hDP56DRy60

  • What a great idea what you've done here. My favourite Amstrad game was the adventure game 'The Wild Bunch'. I had Renegade and loved the music. Thanks for sharing that.

  • haha i loved the wild bunch.. finished it multiple times and kept comming back for more!

  • one of my all time fave games still play this now!!

  • Loved the music for this game, thanks for sharing it with us. ^_^

  • Uno de los clasicos, vaya tardes de viciada con este!!

  • Cojonudo!
