very good. i knew the maranathas with this music. someone gave me a tape with this music and i loved it. i translated it to portuguese and we sung it in belo horizonte brazil, twenty years ago. very good to remember. after i got the cd and today im listening it in the you tube. its very good.

Listening to this song makes me think of just how carnal and worldly Christians are these days! I have a neighbor that told me he and his wife go to church,....BUT,....he told me he is not the type of christian who is gentle, loving and the type who wants to pray fervantly!!! I could only walk away away head hanging, thinking, he is the TYPICAL Christian we have these days! SAD AND SCARY!!

@jehonhaas Hi Jehon, Ya know, that neighbor I was talking about is someone who just "does not want" a real relationship with God! Of course we are to fervently pray for people like that, of course. However, sometimes it may not be a matter of someone praying for a person as much as it is that the person in question just does not care to have a relationship with the lord! In that case, its a matter of a person's choice, a decision they make that is the problem!!

Maranatha music was full of major chords. These major chords reflect the Hope, Joy and Love of modern Christianity. These are gems. In contrast, modern worship music is rather ghastly. What is this obsession with minor chords? How can you speak of Joy while playing a minor chord? I get depressed being in church worshiping to a minor chord barrage. Not everyone ought to imitate Radiohead. Radiohead is music for gorgeous music but is one for sad times.

Life is too fast and no one takes time to sit and wait and to really enter into a time of intimate worship anymore and hence most of the music nowadays dont really touch the worshippers because it probably did not touch the songwriter in the first place.

Praise leaders are,in most cases just someone who can actually sing better than most in the church and therefore is giving the job! Look, I am not trying to be critical I am just saying what I have seen over the last 20 years or so in the body of christ! Really,it has been that long that thing's have been so bad!
