I have only seen one other video of yours, the one about the church that became a museum-- really nice video btw. I notice you use terms like 'lead pastor'. I'm wondering what you see as the difference between pastor or elder. I see in Acts 20:28, and I Peter 5 that elders are told to pastor, and that the apostles appointed a group of elders in each church. Where does the idea of a separate role of pastor above the elders come, besides Catholicism and Protestant history?
@SaudaraLink in other videos and friends of Darrin's (i.e. Mark Driscoll, Matt Chandler, etc.) would say that there is no difference. an elder is a pastor according to the greek of the words used for pastor and elder. they mean the same thing. hope this has helped :)
Great vid, Cousin!
