I agree with all of the previous comments. It's definately not what I expected from a Mami single. Something just seems off when listening to it. With "Akai Namida", it's slow, but it seems to work with Mami's voice very well, and that's why I like it. But this...not so much. Oh well, I'm done complaining, Mami's voice is as beautiful as ever ^_^
This is what happens when you force an arranger and an artist who have (almost) never worked together before do just that. Slow songs are not suited to Mami Kawada as is painfully obvious in the I've Sound compilation albums. Unfortunately, C.G.Mix either does not care, or thinks things can be different this time.
Sort of. Since C.G. Mix does all of the composing and arranging, it means, the song will be moreso in his style, which in the end, conflicts with Mami's. Remember, it's not Mami creating the melodies, she just writes the lyrics.
