From what I see, Len is "thrown away" as a baby or child because he was not human. Throughout the song, he sings about how lonely he is and how he wants to be saved and not forgotten. His 7th year, he makes a friend (Rin). She also has horns, indicating she's not human either. She says that if they disappear from human memory, it seems they will also disappear in reality. They are scared of it. Rin disappears on the 8th year and the rest of the song is Len telling people not to forget them.
