I'd say you need to loosen up. Forget about the ballpoint pen, don't use them until you're confident with your lines. Start out with some Prismacolor pencils and get yourself some good marker paper. Sketch lightly at first, and don't be afraid to mess up. Get the proportion of the car down, keep your lines clean and get some snap to them. Take a peek at some design websites and get a good idea of current design trends. Keep it up, and if you have any questions feel free to ask!

i heard bout that too. But ive seen equally both good artist's work from right and left handers. IMO,i dont think it is a matter where ur "artistic side" is but more to "how much effort" you put to make it look good.

dude my dad studied neurology when he was in college, everybody thinks the left controls the right side which really doesnt make any sense and if it did the brain would be even more complicated, thats why when ppl have a stroke their whole left or right side of the brain might go numb now if left side of brain controls right then why in the case or a stroke why would the right side still work if the left side of the brain had the stroke? ur theory makes no sense.

if you see big wheels, or disproportional front, etc...that is because all sketches are "rough".
