  • Great for a first video! You did it! It gets easier, I promise.

One thing I do to keep from looking around is stick a little picture of someone next to the camera. That way, I'm talking to a person and not an inanimate object; and it keeps my eye focused in the right place. Make sure that person in the picture is SMILING. Then you will too! (I always forget to smile. THAT takes my concentration.)

  • @VSPNetwork Thanks so much for this extremely helpful comment. I really appreciate it, and I have just the picture to use! How did you find my video?

  • Love it! You're the best, Taru!

  • @KinderSorter I'm learning from YOU, girlfriend.

  • Congrats on taking the plunge!

  • @wendymaynard Thanks! A plunge it was, but a fun one.

  • looks good nice clip

  • @tomyloveu Thanks for the encouraging comment!

  • Great test. Now start sharing my wisdom! I'll share mine: go get a 4'8' rigid piece of Styrofoam insulation from Home Depot because it's light, white, stores easily and takes paint nicely (any color you like, or even wallpaper). Stand it behind your chair or rest it on an easel to create a background-and viola! Instant studio!

  • @sneezebone Thanks! I have a great room to do the next ones in.
